Opinion on scene in Her Males

Hello, my glorious hoes-I need your opinion on the cheating scene from Her Males. I don't want to remove the scene because I feel like it's important for Charlie's growth and is a pretty significant part of the storyline, but I do feel that the way I originally wrote it made Charlie too irredeemable.I'm working on final edits of the book, and I've rewritten the scene and would love your opinions on it. I'm trying to convey a very specific emotion with it, and I want to ma...

His Assignment: Chapters 11-15

Chapter 11Liam is so annoying. He lets out another exaggerated huff before the sound of him rolling over makes its way to my ears. I don't care if the floor is uncomfortable, and I hope it hurts his back.I also wish he didn't keep me awake with his constant moaning and groaning. The room falls silent, but I know better than to believe it. This is Liam's go-to move, lulling me into a false sense of sleep before waking me up once more with his insufferable whining. When he does it again p...

Land of Wolves (original book 1 outline)

About 20,000 years ago I mentioned how Land of Wolves had deviated quite a bit from the original outline I drew up. A bunch of you asked if I would share the original, but I needed to wait until the party was over since there was still a tiny bit of overlap.Anyway, below is the original outline I made for book 1 of this story! Prologue: Evelyn is marked with the soul bond of the Alpha. She is talking with her father, and they discuss the plan to bring down the wolves. Now is the perfect time. Th...

Chev's Mate - Bonus Chapter

I'm working against a deadline right now, but I've had this thought in my head for a good two weeks now and I just needed to get it down.__________Chev's POVVanessa looks intrigued as I set up the tripod and fiddle with my new camera’s settings.I’m glad I was able to get Silas to help me buy it. He’s not pleased with my reason why, but he isn’t putting up much of an argument. He probably realizes it’s useless.Gray’s 200th birthday is a big deal, and we all know my present ...

Rock's Bully: Chapters 11-13

Chapter 11Dad sits in his office and doesn’t even spare me a glance as I step inside and close the door. The room is cold, and I release a slight shiver as I lower myself into the chair opposite his desk.He always turns down the heat when angry, the cold air helping to settle his wrath. With a low sigh, I watch him type at his computer, the man pretending he doesn’t even notice me. It’d be a good try if he weren’t the most observant person I know. Walk in on Daddy G while he’s working a...

Lord of Dread: Chapters 16-20

Chapter 16My head pounds.I release a low groan and roll over, my sweaty body sticking to everything it touches. Is it always this hot in the mornings? The air is absolutely stifling. My stomach aches, the food I ate last night threatening to re-emerge as I force myself to sit up and look outside. What time is it?The sun is high in the sky, so I know I’ve slept in much later than appropriate. Just great. With another groan I drop my head into my hands, agonized as I recall everything I did last ni...
