That is correct. By the beginning of each month, you get the rewards of the previous month.

on the beginning of each month, patreon process the pledges. So within the 1st week of each month I send the rewards (high res, nsfw versions, etc) corresponding to the previous month. In this case, you'll get september rewards (nova, elisa and the other pin-up I'm doing in the next few days) in the first week of october. Since patreon only process the pledges on weekly/monthly basis (based on the criteria the creator stablished, in my case, every month), if the artists post the rewards on the timeline, they run the risk of people making "fake" pledges, just to get the rewards posted on the timeline. And cancelling before the pledge is actually processed by the system. Which pretty much means they'd get the content for free. Unfortunatelly, in the internet, a lot of people would do something like that =(
