Very interesting film. Much like you - I thought it was a brilliant piece of work (directors. writers, stage designers) by brilliant actors. My only problem was with the second half. It's probably my ignorance, though. I think I missed out on the whole "incel" thing. It is nothing that would ever have happened among my friends or acquaintances. I have no idea why idiots like "Sir" Keith Starmer have anything to say. Kept seeing post on "social media" with right wing idiots saying "this is what the show was based on" - and showing a black boy - as if incels have anything to do with exclusively black people. More trying to stir up racial hatred. Typical bloody behaviour - it won't work of course - because few "real" people look at "X/twitter". So - uncomfortable viewing - I can't believe this attitude exists. What has happened to schooling in the west? Can we blame it on schooling? Or is it the parents? It brought up lots of those kind of questions.
