My dog loves getting her ears cleaned. I never got her to like nail trimming though. She plays along for the treats (foot massages, tapping her nails with the trimmer, cutting sounds) -right up until I start actually snipping. It's never once hurt her; I don't know why she insists on fighting it.
Our puppy gets there tomorrow. Your videos have been a great help to get ready for him !
