I love your analysis of Rumple and how he reacted to both his parents going up against him. I think his indifference to his mom is probably a defense mechanism for being betrayed by her at such a young age. I think she hurt him more by leaving him so soon. I believe he truly thought she was more evil than Pan. Love how this shows how our parents can screw us up even into our adult lives. We become those monsters.
