I hope he gets worse and Ubbe or Bjorn kills him. I never really liked the character and at this point he's irredeemable. Also, this definitely hit just as hard as the bee sting.

I can´t see how he could get any worse. But I also don´t think it should realisticaly help him get any better. It´s not like this was him finally hitting rock bottom. He has already been there for a while.

I really hope Hvitzerk gets redemption, but it is so bad atm. it's just killing my Hope since its the last season. Ragnar took almost a whole season to recover from his drug issues. So dunno.

This could be the conclusion of his storyline ... but it feels unfinished so maybe facing ivar is a must for his story

It's hard to say , but I hope he gets better. The actor deserve a better storyline. Regarding to the Freydis-Katya thing. I think it's pretty obvious, that she looks like Freydis only in Ivar's mind. He just feels bad for killing her. Oleg just used the opportunity and fucked her in front of Ivar, to morally defeat him since Ivar is acting against Oleg. Maybe this is not the smartest writing ever, but it's not as silly, as you said, Eric.

I think he might just get better because he is following his destiny, Lagertha told him she was destined to die at the hands of one of ragnars son. At the same time he believes his fate is to kill Ivar. So hey may just become laser focused on his goal to kill Ivar now. But then again he may just keep messing up and get himself killed faster.
