For some reason the anime translates Incarnation as meaning or willpower when it's not used in terms like "Incarnate arms" or just now "Incarnate Sword" so it it kind of get's lost in translation that this is what they are talking about. Kirito's Incarnation blocked Bercouli's Incarnation. What Alice was doing was looking for a response from Kirito in his eyes and she intended to use her Incarnation just like Bercouli just did (just not in such a violent manner), after all she has been trying to get a proper reaction out of him for 6 month to no avail no matter what she did, but Bercouli just rolled up and got a clear response from him in a manner of seconds. Well the anime sadly has the habit of downplaying Asuna and Kirito relationship while emphasising harem bait, so it was 100% deliberate on the side of the anime production to make you think she was trying to kiss him.
