Need is a leak that should stayed buried until she officially releases. All of the Girls was released because of it leaked and got viral. I’ve heard this once and that’s it because it wasn’t intended to be released. I’m just weird about respecting artists releasing how they wanted. But I think what would be a fun watch when you get to Fearless is her hosting episode on SNL. It’s actually funny and would be a fun nostalgia trip.

That was actually the first time I’ve ever heard Need. Is it the leaked one or an actual track. I loved it, except for the fade out at the end. She was deeply scared from her relationships and being cancelled before meeting Joe. I think she was riddled with anxiety and trust issues for a very long time.

All her songs about Joe are very anxious and unsure! I don’t think he ever made her feel completely loved! Seeing her now, being completely, proudly and loudly LOVED by Travis, you see the difference! She is SO secure in herself and his love for her! It’s so beautiful! Yeah its a lot of fighting and convincing for a relationship that was built i think personally on insecurity. Which to shift analyzing from taylor joe.. i think isnt as secure as he appeared.. which i think thats why reassurance wasnt happening. In hindsight this relationship was only going to last if they both lived unsatisfied and it took her six years to finally get out of the drought. In a past comment i mentioned he fell inlove with a woman who was in defeat and seeked escaping and quiet till she felt she could step out again and he was never going to meet her out of the version he fell for. I also may have been the one that touched on the whole convincing thing though.. i cant remember hahaha.

that whole thing where you talked about her love songs never starting out sounding like love songs, or sounding weird--it's that thing you clocked immediately in the main album: she's incredibly anxious in the relationship and convinced she's going to fuck it up and so is terrified of losing him (also idr if it was you or someone else that said something about having to convince herself how in love she was, which of course means cracks were already starting to show if that's the case) also: need is absolutely unfinished and it shows most at that fizzled out ending lol
