Personally, I don't like it, I don't want to be hit with posts about unfinished works, that I don't want to see because they are probably spoilers that make the final work less impactful for me.

It might be a good idea actually. You could share 2 or 3 images, to show off your progress and the general theme of the new work. It would make me more excited for a new work, and I’m sure the other patrons would say the same. It might even bring more attention to you and your works if you were to make these images free, so that it entices more people to become a patron.
