Before starting the game after installation, don't forget to change config file:

Changelog:
- Reduced memory consumption, decreasing chance of getting complete audio mute
- All helicopters received fake sound occlusion, harassing less when hovering nearby
- Fixed missing helis RPM, now after death the sound will gradually fade out
- Fixed all interior hit impacts
- Fixed various destruction sounds

this mod is kind of a disappointment ive noticed so many bugs and inconsistencies

It's in the game settings, not a mod setting. Should be able to do it under game options -> sound

All plane guns are working, worth to try re-installing
when are you gonna add sounds for ww2 japanese guns? I can't hear any of their shots
