Yeah. Jeph is awesome, but he seems to be struggling with what to do with these select group of friends. Clinton went from Emily to Brun, with no progress between the two. Elliot likes Brun, but then develops a crush on his “rival”, and Renee likes Elliot. Now, with Millie thrown in, it feels like a lot of pointless build up with these characters, but I’m certain Jeph will have a payoff.

The AI singularity happened rather recently in QC time, which means that AI-human relationships must be somewhat of a new phenomenon. There must be a whole lot of AI folk in Millefeuille's situation, new to dating, never mind dating humans! Faye and Bubbles are such a fortunate role-model to have. I'm glad she asked them for advice, rather than, say...Sven and May.
