July is here and we're halfway through the year. And that means traveling! I have three trips planned this month. Exciting, but that means it'll be busy. I'll try to finish the pages before I leave (but I might miss a day or two). Anyhow, here's my plan for the upcoming month:Son of a Witch Chapter 2 Part 3 - I'm hoping to finish the entire part 3 this month. I think it'll be around 148 pages total for the chapter, but I'm unsure of the exact amount (it always changes...

App Update

This one took a bit more time than expected. It also changed quite a bit from my original plan. I was going to do a simple sequence, but it turned into a strip comic. Oh well, I hope you like it!

I really like Kelly's design. Sad to see her go (for now).Side note, I'm taking a week's break from Son of a Witch. I'll be running a poll and doing a sequence (and hopefully get a backlog of Son of a Witch). I'm not sure how long this chapter will be. I have a general outline, but I'll iron out the details. Kelly showing she's not just a pretty face. I like the trope of the ditzy girl being smart. It's actually pretty fun working with the chibis.

Son of a Witch 2: 89 - 92

And Kimi chibi is back! With a friend. I debated a few ways to handle this transition. It ranged from forgetting he was a boy to showing him taking the hat on and off, to immediately falling asleep and lying to his mom that he practiced. I decided to skim past the practice and fall asleep with the hat on, which triggered the chibis to return.

And we've got a name for the new persona: Kelly.

The backstory of the witches vs wizards. I'll go deeper into it when the actual wizards show up. And Kai lost his memories again. She wears her emotions on her theoretical sleeves and is a bit ditzy.

June 2024 Update

Beach season! White Shirt (Krea Test)

Still addicted to making these. I tried to break it into parts to make it longer. It's ok. It's hard to keep the character consistent between the scenes. The downside of this program is that I have very little control over what will happen. Apparently, using anime-style automatically makes the characters more Asian. But, I'm happy for the first test of something like this. I made a bunch of small animations over on discord. Let me know if you're having trouble accessing it.

So, I found a new AI tool that can make animations. I actually really enjoy it despite the limitations. I'm offering requests so I can practice more. I opened a new discord to make it easier.
