Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 08
She's gonna need a bigger boat!
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 06
SURPRISE!!!OK, I know you're not surprised but could you at least ACT surprised?
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 05
NOW some (many?) of you are guessing (correctly) why this pictorial's title ends in "of Terror".
Marshal Henderson 01 - 030
Here's page 030 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Look, kids! ABS!
Marshal Henderson 01 - 029
Here's page 029 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Oh ye of little faith! Did you truly believe Marshal Henderson was down for the count?
Marshal Henderson 01 - 028
Here's page 028 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Looks like Marshal Henderson is completely defeated, isn't it?
Marshal Henderson 01 - 027
Here's page 027 with a .zip file with the clean panels including three, count them, THREE, unused ones.I'm still fighting against the render engine's peculiarities and refining the shader but this is my new way to depict fluids. No postproduction retouch, rendered "on camera". Finally physically realistic reflection and translucence.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 026
Here's page 026 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Don't you hate it when you can't take your time to do things at their proper pace because you're in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 04
Uh-oh...
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 03
I'm pretty confident Lara will just grab the idol and leave the place without further complications.
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 02
This picture serial is going to be more sequential, the actual story will be shorter but it will be told through more images. So it will have a higher posting frequency, moreso at the beginning.
Lara Ryder: Temple of Terror 01
New serial. Lara Ryder is back and, to quote a now classic trilogy, monsters are back in the menu, boys!
Marshal Henderson 01 - 025
Here's page 025 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Kids today. No respect for the law, I tell you.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 024
Here's page 024 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Still tweaking things as I go. I keep trying to get a slightly shiny skin shader balanced between single and multiple point lighting as you can see here. I'm ALMOST there.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 023
Here's page 023 with a .zip file with the clean panels. Due to a silly mistake page 22's .zip file included an unused on but not the fourth. It is included on this page's .zip.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 022
Here's page 022 with a .zip file with the clean panels.(yes, 22, the title of the previous post was wrong and has already been corrected)
Marshal Henderson 01 - 021
Here's page 021 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Ahh, the wonders of genetic engineering.
Risky Therapy 051
And so the therapy ends. I'm not sure it has healed the inner conflicts of my ego but it sure has been interesting. And Dr. Strong is somewhere out there...
Risky Therapy 050
You'd be tempted to call this her last gasp.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 020
Here's page 020 with a .zip file with the clean panels. And THAT is the reason her panties had the biohazard sign.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 019
And here's page 019 with a .zip file with the clean panels including an unused one.The term "replidroid" is used on the 1985 Blade Runner game for 8-bit computers by CRL. I always thought they wanted to make easier for the player to chase and kill droids if they aren't supposed to be the fully human ones of the movie. Besides the homage I'm using it to imply a more terminator-ish type of androids that, while being confusingly organic like the originals, are more straight vill...
Marshal Henderson 01 - 018
And here's page 18 with a .zip file with the clean panels.I don't know if the pen is mightier than the sword but the tongue certainly is.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 017
And here's page 17 with a .zip file with the clean panels including an unused one.Sometimes showing how characters move coming close to each other just drags the action down and you must cut that movement. If you do it right the action flows and remains visually understandable.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 016
And here's page 16 with a .zip file with the clean panels.Good 'ol training beats cyber enhancements. The fight sequence was intended to be longer but I think enough is enough (for now, anyway).
Marshal Tanaka 2
Another test render. If you could zoom you'd notice Henderson and Tanaka's panties have their different Marshal Serial Number on the back.
Marshal Tanaka
Adapting scenarios and creating more characters for future appearances.I was thinking of give this Marshal a referencial last name. One from a creator like Otomo or Mishima. But "Tanaka" is so classic a Japanese villain name (on Western media) and sounds so good that even she being a hero I had to use it to name her. The body proportions may look weird but it's because she's very short and there's no one else there for reference.
Risky Therapy 049
Finally I decided to switch to Superfly on this serial, even as it has no more than three posts left. Any challenge I met here I won't have to face on the regular comics (like those fluids). You'll notice the dungeon doesn't look fully OK (displacement maps don't cause glitches on Superfly but they were easier to work with on Superfly) but as it won't appear again I didn't put as much work on updating it as I did with the characters.(and yes, Tess was a bad person before,...
Marshal Henderson 01 - 015
Here's page 015 with an attached zip file with the original clean images including an unused one.
Marshal Henderson 01 - 014
Here's page 014 with an attached zip file with the original clean images including an unused one. Also had to find a way to render blood. The fluid props are good for most fluids but hue of shader is important. Nothing is as off putting to me from 70s horror flicks as that garish tomato red blood. I know real blood is quite bright and saturated but I like fictional one to be thick and dark.(in case you didn't noticed, page 013 has been updated)
