i updated the patreon page, finally

that's all, i just thought i'd let you know! nothing has really changed, just, you know. workin' on keeping things up to date. lmao

life updates and so on

hey all. i keep saying i hope to get back on track, and then i do for like a week, and then i fall off again and can't get back in the mindset to say "back on track" again for quite a while. i've been thinking about why this might be the case, and i have some ideas.i mean, aside from depression lol, because that's been a constant for the past year and a bit. though that is the starting point and probably catalyst for all of this.i would say around the time my depression start...

goodies: yeah hell yeah + emptygod RESOURCES + FLACs

what it says on the tin! not sure what people would want with the yeah hell yeah stuff since it's a cover, but maybe the stabs or breaks would be useful to somebody.enjoy! sorry i've been so slow. i say it a lot but i figure i should keep saying it lol

mboscseq (synth+pedal improv)

a little jam from a couple days ago.

hyi - emptygod

this one kind of happened all at once in an hour or so. just had to shake off some seriously ugly vibes.

SHHHH... you hear that? it's ~NOTHING~

hey all! sorry for the radio silence! the truth is that i'm currently working on some music stuff i actually can't talk about and doing hobby stuff on the side to relax. i should be be able to talk about it... soon? eventually!in the mean time, i'll get the stems for Redwood uploaded very soon, and will actually get around to re-organizing the Patreon and properly listing the current rewardssssszzzzzlots of love,

Jackal Queenston - Redwood

didn't expect to wrap that up so quickly, but there it is! some to-the-point dnb shit with airy pad interludes. this'll be on the next B SIDE U thing

redwood (WIP)

GALGALE12†roman_candle [+FLAC] [+RESOURCES]

i finished a tune! here it is in MP3 and FLAC format (and an MP3 of a shorter edit, (GALGALE12†bottle_rocket), as well as a collection of sounds for you to play with and make whatever you flippin' want!enjoy, and thanks for the continued support. much love. ❤

moisturewave

today's jokeFLAC attached, for some reason

stuff soon, been extremely busy!

hey all - i should be back around with more frequency soon, i've been working on shipping the FUCKDEST JAMS / ON TRAX orders for 3 days straight pretty much (taking breaks to save my neck and back) and still have a bunch more to do.suffice to say, i'm never taking this many orders at once again.after this, the hyi record will go up for preorder and i'll be working on a physical copy of astroantediluvian.cheers, much love

"back on track"... sure

it's 10am and i still haven't been able to sleep. i've been trying for 5 hours and my body is just not having it. here's the run down of what i think is going on:when i started taking citalopram, it was very energizing, so i had to take it in the morning, but eventually it wound up making me drowsy, so i took it at night, and have been doing so for most of the time i've been on it. recently though it seems like the stimulating properties have been recurring and for the past f...

back on track!

ok, my sleep schedule is mostly back to normal as of today. i should be streaming tomorrow (friday) at 6PM EST! i'll drop a post with the link here tomorrow during the day.

Darius - ASTROANTEDILUVIAN [Album Download]

here it is! it's a shorter one - 9 tracks, under half an hour - but i'm beyond happy with how it turned out. you can find MP3 and FLAC downloads attached to this post in ZIP format![edit] apparently those files didn't attach at all but they should be there now? patreon's weird about this stuff.

a couple new short tunes from ASTROANTEDILUVIAN

they're attached as MP3s. short ones, but they fit nicely in the album. i'm really happy with both of them.

apologies for missing the stream today

it's 8PM EST and i'm just waking up. i woke up earlier at 11am to the sound of horrendous construction and as soon as it ended i fell back asleep and my alarm (noon) didn't go off at all.currently i'm trying to figure out the best approach to things, as tomorrow i'm out for lunch with my parents, and i'll probably be dead asleep after that.i'm going to try to get back on schedule as quickly as i can, i deeply apologize for the inconvenience .

new year, new stream schedule!

hey all! happy new year! let's get right to it now that i'm settling back in after taking a few days off for new years celebrations (and recovery)the new plan is to have streams rotate, but always at 6PM EST! a number of people have mentioned that Sundays aren't the best choice, so i figured i'd shift it around a bit now. i hope to have them every week as well as long as my health stays on the up and up!this week's stream is on Tuesday at 6PM EST! then the week after, it will...

Darius - Astroantediluvian (JAN 1 WIP)

here's a render of the album (EP?) so far. i'll probably add another track or two. it also includes a sketch from "2014-CURRENT", which will probably be swapped out for something else - i had forgotten i was putting it on this release when i added it to the "2014-CURRENT" tracklist. whooooops.anyways, enjoy this so far, unless you wanna wait for the album and not spoil yourself.also, the album title may change upon release, as this isn't quite as much of a concept pie...

2 new darius tracks

from the album (EP?) in progress. you'll find them attached in MP3 format. happy new year, and look forwards to a bunch of new stuff, hopefully.lots of love, and we'll be back on track for streams next weekend!

"Melancholy Passing Into Mania" WIP

started work on this a couple days ago, did some more work in today's stream. coming along well! still work to be done on this one.i had started this one thinking "TQBF and Klippa would be interesting" - the Klippa doesn't come across as well as i had hoped (half-time percussion and kick drum retriggers standing in for a wonky lowpass filtered bassline) but i still think it's pretty cool. not sure who i'll attribute it to at this point. maybe i'll just leave it as TQB...

LINK: https://picarto.tv/HALLEYLABS/e23e49a177b66319c9f33bfabb590f20not sure on the exact time right now, but between 5 and 6 PM is what i'm shooting for! tuesday should give me enough time to get fully back on track - staying up for as long as i can today to reset my sleep, but giving myself another day to settle in.here's a thing i started working on: https://twitter.com/HECKSCAPER/status/942332661552599040

RE: Today's Stream

ok so lmaoi woke up at 7/8pm last night and my sleep is really wack, so i'm thinking it'll have to be later if it is today, like 9pm? so i'm wondering if i should do it today or do it sometime monday or tuesday?

update on patreon's bullshit:

they called it off! \o/alright, on with the program. expect updates very soon!

patreon's bullshit

so i've been a little upset with the big guys upstairs over this, and rightfully so. here's a full breakdown of why what they're doing (charging supporters a 35cent fee per pledge, rather than an across-the-board fee) is garbage: https://twitter.com/TomDarbyHey/status/938601593842421760my plan WAS to change the tiers to accomodate and knock 50 cents off of each tier for you. i'd much rather take the hit than have you guys just suddenly be paying that additional fee next month (gr...

on the lack of updates

hey all! right out of the gate, thanks for the continued support. creativity has been slow to come, but has been good when it has, and i'm hoping to rail out some more work on the upcoming Darius album very soon.the NegaRen cassettes will be shipping out soon to those that ordered (expecting the covers in this week) and pre-orders will be opening for a last print of FUCKDEST JAMS and ON TRAX ABSOLUTE, as those have been requested quite a bit. as well, the hyi vinyl will be up for pre-order b...
