Make a STRM tutorial with zurg and get 1 month RD sub

I'm gifting a 1 month RD sub to anyone who can create a tutorial (post it in r/RealDebrid or your own website, doesn't matter). 1 RD voucher per person only. To join, just comment on this post (or in the reddit post) of the tutorial you made and I'll contact you for your vou...

RD is dead; long live RD!

When that blue "DL with RD" button is clicked and turns to "RD (100%)", DMM saves this torrent's information so that other users will know that this torrent is cached. This is the solution we've designed to cope up with the loss of instantAvailability endpoint. I didn't expect it to work so well, especially now that I've bought 2 new RD subscriptions that powers up bots checking every hash in the database if they're cached. After 72 hours of releasing this featu...

FAQ

1. What is RD Cache?Answer: Real-Debrid cache is synonymous to their storage servers. Every content that their users download are stored so that when another user requests for it, it's not redownloaded again. It is available instantlyfor other users, and without waiting, you can watch content immediately. When RD removed their "instant availability" endpoint, we lost the ability to look into which content are available to be watched immediately. A lot of users in Reddit panicked about...

5500+ torrents added in first day of DMM's availability database

RD's cache is alive and healthy. This set represents 200++ TB of content across 2,500++ unique movies and shows. And this is just purely community effort from the first day.Tomorrow I'll start doing some automation on this but thanks to everyone who is participating!

RD implements new rules. Watch this post for updates.

Changes observed:1. They've removed CORS headers from their API and even my local development is affected. (Fixed in DMM)2. They've killed the instantAvailability endpoint. (Fixed in DMM)3. Torrents are mostly unaffected. (zurg is still working fine)--- Update: 23.11.2024 22:59 CET4. RD has put an active download limit of 6--- Update: 24.11.2024 02:44 CET5. They've removed the links again from /torrents endpointIt's great that it's the onset of the weekend as I can work on th...

Stability, performance and new UI!

The version.txtfile in the dav directory will now be available ONLY when the files are fully available on zurg. This makes version.txt a proper health check file. Check this bash one-liner to update zurg.I've removed the "concurrent_workers" config to prevent lockups. This was previously causing library updates not working because of big libraries and not freeing enough workers to trigger an update. Now it will utilize all compute it can access and do parallel processing. If you are ...

DMM Episode Count Grouping

All show torrents are now color coded to show you if a torrent contains all episodes or not! Enjoy!

DMM updates

DMM has been packaged now as a Progressive Web Appand can now be "installed" on your device. I will start working on its offline experience. To lessen the database load and make DMM more stable and reliable, I'm capping the torrent results to 100 items. You will have to use "Biggest movie size to show" and "Biggest episode size to show" in the Settings if you wish to see lower file sizes.Instant RD, Watch and Cast buttons now available conveniently at the top of the pa...

Hotfix for zurg!

Apologies for those having issues recently with zurg unrestricting too much or featurettes or trailers being selected or having incosistent torrents when fetching the whole list. These are all fixed now in the latest "nightly" released just a few minutes ago.

What Do You Think About Dumped Torrents?

Hey everyone,I wanted to take a moment to talk about the “dump” feature I rolled out a few releases ago and get your thoughts on it. For those who’ve been using it, the dump feature creates a new `dump` directory on your mount where you can find content from zurgtorrent files. The idea was to foster a community space for sharing these files and helping each other build our libraries—kind of like DMM’s hashlists, but specifically for zurg. When I first launched it, I thought it was a sol...

Your Real-Debrid account is compromised and you don't even know it

UPDATE: Less than 1 hour of posting this, Real-Debrid has fixed the issue, thanks to u/LayeZeefrom r/elfhosted's report.TL;DR:Real-Debrid’s HTTP folder links are publicly accessible without authentication, making your account vulnerable if these links are leaked or indexed. Real-Debrid needs to implement better security measures to protect user accounts.Hey reddit,Lately, I've seen a surge in posts about Real-Debrid accounts receiving warnings or bans. However, many of these posts lack...

New nightly to address erratic RD API responses

Tonight, the latest nightly release of zurgdrops! This nightly release focuses on improving reliability, configurability, and code quality. Here's a comprehensive overview of what's new:1.Handle Erratic RD API responsesVery recently, I noticed that sometimes, when fetching a page of torrents in your library, RD API will return an empty list. This causes zurg to think that you've deleted your torrents so it will mess up your library badly. zurg is now updated to handle this.2. New Con...

Now DMM should be noticeably faster. Please report any issues!I will be moving towards client-side requests for all RD API calls, this is just part 1.

New Nightly Implements probable BW Limit Fix

Recently, a second user reported successfully bypassing Real-Debrid (RD) bandwidth restrictions using Zurg's nightly release. The first user who identified this issue was operating on version 0.9.3. With these two data points, we observed a correlation linked to the unrestrict caching mechanism.Understanding the Issue:My analysis suggests that when a non-residential IP reaches the 400GB bandwidth limit, the restriction primarily applies to previously unrestricted download links. If a new lin...

Improved Repairman & Early Work on IMDB Auto-Detection

I've been working hard on the latest Zurg nightly release, with a focus on improving how repairs function. This update ensures that the repair process won't consume excessive bandwidth, addressing an important issue with the repair loop. The main goal here is to make repairs safe and efficient again. Here’s how repairs now work in Zurg: It's reactive. If Zurg attempts to unrestrict a file and the RD API returns an error, that file is flagged as broken and Zurg will automatically que...
