Cypress Paint Anatomy Page Update

Still working away at this. Hope everyone's doing well! 😊I made some changes to the one back pose, because I wanted his face to be slightly more visible.Also, I added in another older sketch to the right side, which I thought might fit this page 👍Thanks again!

Still working on the anatomy page and the Supermoo piece. (Not sure how I feel about the mask on that one, so I may or may not keep it)Also another piece which was basically a recycle of the April fool's piece from last year, but I wanted to see if I could do something slightly different with it. Supermoo Next stage

Values are done 👍A bit into the process:I painted them on a normal layer, but also clipping masked to the flat fill layer underneath. This is what I do when I work values first. The other option would have been to do the flat colour layer, except the clipping masked layer would have been a Hard Light layer instead.

Deciding on my new character's name. 🤔What I've narrowed it down to:Aster - Derived from the greek work "Asteri," meaning star. But also, the purple/pink flower that has a star-like appearance. (flower symbolizes love, wisdom and faith). New Character WIP

Still developing this guy, but he's making out to be some sort of Dragon/Minotaur hybrid. 🤔Colour Scheme-wise, I really wanted to go green with him, because I think it comes across as more woodsy and calming. Design question

Kind of leaning more towards A, but what do you guys think? 🤔reasons for A:-the horns being curved down gives a more "docile" type of look, making him look more friendly or approachable.-The ears being upright gives more cat-like or dog-like appearance, and will have the same type of mobility when expressing emotionsreasons for B:-the horns being upright have a more menacing look, but it could contrast well with his more friendly personality-the ears being on the side is more bovine, ...

So when I do sketches for a commission, or for pieces in general, I usually have a few “unused“ sketches that aren’t normally shown. It’s basically like preliminary brainstorming for poses and stuff. With commissions, it’s just the different pose options that I share with client (only one gets chosen for the final piece, which is the one I share)Would you guys like to see some of that stuff as well? 🤔(I may just make it available for the Dragon tier)

Anatomy form study suggestions?

Thinking about doing more studies eventually like the ones above, and was wondering if there were any specific poses you guys wanted to see. Feel free to link refs in your comments too, if you find that it helps with your suggestion!I'll probably end up going with Cypress again, though Chiron could be a good subject as well.Let me know what you guys think 👍
