News on the Discord - and why on Discord only?
🕑 Added 2025-02-10 16:49:21 +0000 UTCI've just added another post to the Patreon Member section of the Discord server, giving more insight in the current state of the project and news to new upcoming mechanics and features.
I've also been wanting to talk about something for a while now but did not know how to adress it, as I still had to think about it as well.
One of the reasons I do not post links and major news on the Patreon is due to an event that happened when I found out the early access was being pirated, in which the owner of the pirating website justified piracy since my project contains AI art, making the thousands of hours I worked on non-AI content meaningless. I was trash talked via email and you, the community that wants this content insulted as well. Patreon instantly declared itself as unable to do anything.
I do not have an issue with those that use or did use the website to get the game, but I have pride and the thought of letting such a hypocrite website owner generate traffic and income with content and a community they devalue and trash talk makes me want to vomit.
If you did or do pirate content, at least spread the word if you like it. Word of mouth goes a long way.
That was also the reason I did not add any images for a while. However, with the new AI Models I actually feel motivated again, as they become better every time I use them. So prepare yourself for some much better quality images!
While I believe that people in the future will laugh at our definiton of AI, it is going to be a massive part of live for the next few generations of life and I no longer feel any doubts no matter what anyone says.
AEMoS is going to be fully free game on full release and the public demo will be uploaded with the next upcoming Patreon update.
