Old Gravesite (30x30, 200px) - Landmark B from DragnaCarta's Curse of Strahd Reloaded
🕑 Added 2022-05-05 15:41:02 +0000 UTCThis is another of DragnaCarta's landmarks from his Curse of Strahd Reloaded supplement. The landmarks are a fantastic addition to the module - they don't necessary add combat or social encounters, but they do a lot to add to the flavor of the setting and make it feel more alive. After all, Barovia doesn't exist solely for the party's adventures.
The Landmark series is also great in that it isn't specifically tied to Barovia - many of the maps in the series could easily be applied in other settings, or given completely different stories or encounters. I made sure to include the ruins of the family's residence - Dragna mentions in the guide that the locals believe it to be cursed, and I figured folk might want to include the house itself to play with that.
I started working on this map on Twitch, as part of what will become a weekly stream - Mapping Mondays. If you're interested in seeing some of the process, you can follow my Twitch account here! In a bizarre turn of events, I was invited to the Affiliate program yesterday, so that's pretty dang neat.

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.
