Blood of the Vine Tavern (30x22, 200px)
🕑 Added 2022-07-14 22:44:17 +0000 UTCI'm not sure why it took me so long to tackle the Blood of the Vine Tavern, honestly - it seems like something I should've done quite early on, after finishing all the maps in the adventure itself. Well, it's here now!
I made sure to refer to the map of the village to get the general shape of the building, and I tried my best to make it seem like the tavern was once a lively establishment, but the owners haven't quite yet caught on to how sadly empty it is. I've also set places on some of the tables for the tavern's inhabitants when the party arrives - the owners on the westernmost table, and Ismark on the south easternmost table, close to the fire.
If there's interest in a version of the map where only the occupied tables and rooms have lighting, do let me know - otherwise you can use the WebP files without lighting and just add whichever lights you deem necessary. I hope you like it!
I had intended to work on Vallaki Town Square next, but honestly, I've been struggling to come up with a satisfactory layout. I apologise for the delay folks - I'll keep chipping away at it until something clicks into place, but I'll make sure to keep working on other maps in the meanwhile!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.

Hey, I was wondering if it were possible to get these maps without the grass in the background for uvtt? I love your work and I'm trying to place all of them on a village map, but with the grass they overlap at some of the more important buildings

It honestly took me a minute to remember what you meant by angry vibes - I am very forgetful...

Thank you Andy! :D You know, I did wonder why I've seen that with some maps for the inn before, as it seemed a rather unusual detail. It does smell like old Ravenloft lore to me - the 5e book is pretty shy with details for this location, so it has to have come from somewhere...

This is really nice!! I really want to re-do mine at some point as I feel like it’s only a footnote in my Barovia map. Also someone once told me the inn has a part where carriages can go under the center of it? Have you heard of this? Is this old Ravenloft lore? The book leaves a lot for us to interpret thankfully so we get to be creative.
