The small hut stands silent at the end of the path, the glass of its windows shattered, its door ripped off its hinges and cast aside.
Something terrible happened here.

The fine folk at Forgotten Adventures recently released new roofing patterns, and my eagerness to use them prompted me to make this map - I hope you like it!
I didn't have a specific story in mind for the young man included in some of the map's variants - perhaps he came to the hovel seeking shelter during a storm and was killed by a specter that haunts the place, the remnant of some long-forgotten tragedy?
I included all the standard WebP files for this one (including a token for the young man's corpse), but I've also included versions of the trees that separate them from their shadows - this way, you can include the shadows as an overlay that will affect tokens underneath without having the tree tops hide your tokens completely!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they usually come with day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT if the map features buildings or interiors.
