it’s very difficult to avoid hierarchies, bullying and teasing. some students through their natural charisma and beauty (or skills of social manipulation) seem to end up on top. teachers pet gets away with a lot more than she ever really should. such is the way of the world

I wonder whether the former queen bees of this universe tend to rise to the top of the hierarchy of elementary schools for regressed girls. Presumably whatever made them 'alpha females' would still be operative, if dampened (forgive the obvious and unfunny pun).
