gave the first one a shot. I think the story is good, but I’m not a fan of the sex scenes being in the pov of the cuck.

DavidnDaria

Worse, it's happening at the hands of Josh's bully. Perfect storm for Josh. Now, here goes... Spam test... let's see if this gets flagged. In my case, as I have written before, my inner voice told me I was right--I mean dead-on right! Yet my rational, logical self looked for anything that made me think I was wrong. This shit happens when you love someone and you don't want to believe the worst of them. I don't know what KT's going to have Josh do, but all I wanted was the truth and I went through great lengths to get it. Confrontation early on wasn't an option because I knew I would get lied to--that would have broken me further and we likely would have divorced. When I finally asked the question, there was no way a denial was possible. What I did was the right thing to do. So, what will Josh do? I think I understand what our fictional Josh is feeling and it's upsetting. It's upsetting because it's so damn real. That's the wonder of the way KT writes. I mean, little subtle details--seemingly unimportant--become huge in the larger picture. Suspending disbelief becomes way, way too easy. RCH--I can't say I know that feeling because the only woman I've ever loved is my wife. Yeah, I've got experience, but nobody, but nobody got to me like my wife did and does.

Just got some good news... my disappearing posts have been solved! They were marked as Spam by Patreon's third party provider. I've been removed as a Spammer, so I should be able to write what we want to write and have them show up. :)

RCH

Yep, he is scared. Part of their problem is they have never had anyone else. I can remember being 18 and having my first serious girl friend. 2 years later we broke up it seemed like the end of the world. Josh is trying to cope all by himself. He can't imagine life without Kimmy. He can see Kimmy's life without Josh and it scares him!

Chinookfan72

the reading into it lets us pass the time before KT provides us with our next fix. While I agree with your last post I think Josh is scared about a lot more than just being right. His inability to tell Kimmy how he feels or what he’s going through has been going on for a long time. He wasn’t able to confide in her in high school about being bullied, wasn’t able to confide in her in college about the issues they were dealing with then, and isn’t able to confide in a Kimmy about his issues now.. Additionally, I think he’s afraid if he’s right what does that mean.. Is he okay with her sleeping around? If not does he leave? Does he feel like Kimmy is the best he can get so even if she is cheating she is still enough for him?

DavidnDaria

The "scared" mindset is simple. I've been there. Josh is afraid he's correct, and he's afraid he's going to lose Kimmy. Being correct in this is terrifying. While it turns on Josh, it also paralyzes him. He has good reason, too. Kimmy's changing. He sees it. It's all reflected in at the park where Kimmy's work persona doesn't fit in at all with those who are there. She's intimidating and worse, she was incredibly short with Josh who (in his mind) was trying to have fun. Kimmy was wracked with guilt and that led Josh to think the worst. The worst because while he gets turned on, he's afraid Kimmy is slipping away. That's the paralysis part of it. He just doesn't know how to handle the situation, yet. Kimmy's not helping one bit. The shower is telling. The misdirection via the lingerie. All designed to placate Josh and get Kimmy off the hook. She despirately wants to avoid spilling and rationalizes this whole thing into sexy lingerie for Josh. Wow... that's reading a lot into this, huh? :)

Chinookfan72

DND I’d love another installment of happy endings.. Tommy is probably the only cuck in KT’s universe I like. I also agree the story can’t go on where Josh is constantly thinking Kimmy is fucking around, but then doesn’t say anything to her. Josh is scared, but scared of what and how long does it go back to.. In order to break this cycle I’m thinking Josh will convince himself it doesn’t matter if Kimmy is cheating cause he’s into it (but because he is so scared won’t admit this to Kimmy) rather than confront Kimmy.. This will also let KT explore the story as she pitched us..

Glaucon

Is okay I take no offense :P

RCH

I like to think of her as deceitful. Kimmy, is misleading both in words and actions.

DavidnDaria

I'd love to read another "Happy Endings" installment. That epilogue was so full of possibilities. Probably the biggest carrot I've ever seen dangled. "No condom. No condom." Tommy and Sukie were where hotwife/stag couples should be. Kimmy and Josh? Wow... there is some fireworks on the way, but who's gonna blow first? Will Kimmy lose it once she and Devlin have done the deed? "Josh, no. I'm tired. " Josh, thinking, "I know she fucked him. I know it." Na..I don't think KT will go on like this indefinitely. Still, extending this does one thing for us: It makes us think that Josh is just scared shitless and Kimmy is way better a liar than she wants to admit. The next installment is likely to be interesting.

Tim ziegler

My apologies Glaucon if your a lawyer just a terrible joke!

Glaucon

:P

Chinookfan72

if they both had a heart to heart conversation now and Josh was okay with Kimmy sleeping with other men then it would allow Kimmy an out so to speak. It seems simple for Josh to mention not only the tent but also the text messages afterward, but there is obviously something blocking him from doing so. KT did say we’d get me insight into Josh’s past with Devlin and maybe that’ll explain why he is hesitant to bring that stuff up.

RCH

I brought the idea of the tent discussion as a future out for Kimmy's indiscretions. It gives an opening to allow her to have her cake and eat it too. Josh is reacting but is confused. If this starts out as bedroom play then progress... Yes, we're probably getting towards the end of this book an the cliffhanger. I'm pulling for our couple but their lies in the hands of KT. Like a scene from a gladiator movie the champion looks towards the emperor thumbs up or thumbs down. Emperor KT which is it thumbs up or down? We await your answer...

RCH

No, reflection on the honorable Glaucon.

Chinookfan72

I should probably clarify, I wasn’t suggesting you were comparing Josh and Tommy, but rather as you say Happy Endings has similar pacing and also had scenes similar to what we expect to see in the next chapter of this book. The only part of my reply to you that really speaks to your post was the first sentence, which is I don’t see Josh explicitly confronting Kimmy based on what has transpired this evening. I think he’ll probably analyze Kimmy’s lady bits more throughly, but ultimately can’t detect anything is amiss and will conclude he is being and idiot his mind is playing tricks on him because of his past history with Devlin plus what happened at the reunion. I think for Josh to confront Kimmy, even implicitly it is going to require some hard proof that Josh can hold onto. Right now he is unwilling to confront her seriously about what he’s been told by Devlin (both in the tent and via text message), so he has nothing that is truly going to hold up in an argument with Kimmy if he confronts her about cheating. for comparison, in Happy Endings Tommy and Sukie have much better communication, but the first time Tommy confronts Sukie about Dio, Sukie gets pissed and almost goes and sleeps on the couch. In that case Tommy wasn’t even accusing Sukie of doing anything wrong either, so I can imagine how upset Kimmy would be if Josh confronts her about Devlin, but the only evidence Josh is willing to divulge is his interpretation of Kimmy’s mood at the trampoline park and some smudge on her leg. Good luck to Josh to try and win that argument against your wife who also happens to be a lawyer. Josh would probably need to call Meyer for a place to stay for a couple days if he goes down that road. Until Josh is really willing to be vulnerable around his wife I don’t see him confronting her about anything unless he has a smoking gun. Which, by god, how long have they been together and he can’t share anything with her about his vulnerabilities? Even if Kimmy isn’t cheating, the fact he can’t confide in his wife is a giant ass red flag. I’m interested in his hesitancy to open up to Kimmy about his vulnerabilities self inflicted or has Kimmy not supported him in the past when he’s tried to share with her? I’m assuming it’s self inflicted. The rest of my reply was just me jumping down a rabbit hole because when you mentioned Happy Endings it got me wondering what the stories would be like if you swapped characters.. I think Devil in the Waters doesn’t get written and Happy Endings would need a new title.

DavidnDaria

Oh, God, no! Josh is NO WAY even close to Tommy's level. I was comparing the build up--some penetration, no thrusting, with "Happy Endings", that's all. Josh is just plain freaking out, while Tommy wanted it all. They're completely different characters. :) The feel of this story is way different, too. Even though "Happy Endings" happened in Atlanta and Africa, for both of us here, it had a distinctive "Jersey Shore" feel to it.

Chinookfan72

I’m thinking the lack of indication of sex between Kimmy and Devlin will make Josh feel like an idiot. If there is pillow talk after I don’t see this being an incident that generates any major admissions from either Josh or Kimmy.. That being said we are approaching the end of the book so we’ll need a cliff hanger. Then again we haven’t heard from Devlin in a while so maybe the cliff hanger involves contact between Devlin and Josh.

Chinookfan72

The comparison to Happy Endings is a good one, but I don’t see Josh as being any where near as forward as Tommy.. If you swap Tommy and Josh in the stories Devil in Waters is different because Tommy would have told Kimmy of his desire to see her with another man well before the reunion if he felt that way, and if he didn’t then the story doesn’t make it out of the tent cause Tommy would have fought Devlin. Whereas Dio would seduce Sukie on his own, because Josh could never tell Sukie he wants her to mess around with Dio because he lacks the self confidence to tell his wife his true secrets and also lacks the self confidence to compete with Dio’s bigger dick. My theory would be because Josh has so little self confidence he probably wouldn’t make a good salesman so Dio would respect him nearly as much as Dio respects Tommy. Dio would probably send Josh away so he’d be free to fuck Sukie whenever he wanted. Josh would find out, but because he needs the job, and relies on Sukie’s massage business to support him, he allows it to continue. Dio finds out Josh knows, and why he won’t say anything and Dio uses that to bully Josh into allowing Dio to move in and be Sukie’s boyfriend, and relegating Josh to the guest room.

RCH

Lying, no. Deceitful, yes. Lawyer, yes. Deceitful, Lawyer, yes.

DavidnDaria

LMAO! I use one to clean out my sinuses, but... well, creativity reigned supreme.

Tim ziegler

Lying,lawyer da!

RCH

Never heard of Neilmed bottle so I looked it up on AMAZON. Is the to clean out her sinus if Devlin Bukkakes her? :)

TF

Wow, what a great chapter! Their thoughts while separated by the bathroom door are poignant. In particular the short recollection of Josh of their time of separation, Kimmy in law school and Josh working, is significant. They have a history of shielding each other from feelings of distress which makes, at least to me, Josh’s reluctance to express his uneasiness etc. and Kimmy’s behavior post reunion transitioning into lying both more understandable and real. Kimmy even recognizes that she may be too facile a liar for her own good. Like Pavlov’s dog, I await the next message “KT Morrison just shared…”

DavidnDaria

One wonders if the light switch is going to go off when the deed is finally done properly. Will Kimmy simply go "Hell Bent", throwing caution to the wind as the hurricane of pleasure she'll feel dominates her every thought? Edit: Pro Tip--Same shampoo. Same soap. Same deodorant, same toothpaste, same perfume, and a NeliMed bottle filled with warm water and one package of pre-mix for intimate clean up. Pulse the squirts.

Glaucon

If Kimmy were a real person I’d’ve 100% met her.

RCH

Another wonderful chapter! I agree our couple needs to get some line of communication going the sooner the better. Josh is becoming more attune to what is going on with Kimmy. It's interesting his acknowledgement that Devlin will never have her love but she is attracted to him physically. I can't wait to see how their evening plays out. Josh may try to test things, by going down on Kimmy and or intercourse. We know what happened with Devlin, Josh doesn't! Josh's imagination has gone beyond the reality of what happened in the shipping container. He is going to be confused when he doesn't find any indication of her fucking Devlin. We'll have to wait to see how the next chapter plays out. Book three should be subtitled "Murky Waters".

Glaucon

KT I just double checked, in book 1 (chapter 7) you have Kimmy saying she went to law school at Queens and undergrad at Western, and here you've got the reverse.

DavidnDaria

When you look at this chapter you see conflict. Both sides. Kimmy loves Josh more than ever but she's on board with sleeping with Devlin. Josh knows something happened between Devlin and Kimmy, he's seen and felt the evidence, and then Kimmy takes a shower. Josh isn't dumb, but he's afraid of being right. It's almost paralyzing fear for him. It rips him up and turns him on at the same time. Conflict. Kimmy is afraid she's going to become too adept at lying. News flash, she already is adept. She's a master at misdirection but she couldn't misdirect Josh earlier in the day and she knew she had to take a shower to wash away both the guilt and the evidence. What happens next? Will Josh confront, albeit subtly, Kimmy? Josh is not one to simply come out to say, "Did you fuck Devlin?" Frankly, with all the dipping, it is penetration. Same thing happened in "Happy Endings" with Dio and Sukie. If Josh doesn't say anything about the day's events, does Kimmy interpret that as weakness or does she feel relieved? Does Josh simply revert to his state of denial? Does he continue to add up events letting his psychic guide lead the way? Does Kimmy spill the beans to clear the air and let the pieces fall where they may? I don't think so. She believes she loves Josh more than ever yet is it fair to Josh to keep him in the dark? From personal experience, I can say no, it's not fair, but this is fiction. So chances are, Kimmy is not going to spill. Interesting to speculate on this.

RCH

Glaucon, I think KT is stalking you! Coincidence! I don't think so...

DavidSilver

He knows in his heart, that something happended. I'm sure, they will have fantastic sex, but what will Josh do the next day? I could see him following Kimmy around. He has the app. It may take some time and a few tries, but eventually he will find out. Will be watching them, but what than? I doubt he will tell Kimmy right away. Josh is afraid of loosing her. Maybe confused because watching them aroused him. The big clash will have to wait. That's enough predictions for now. We will see what happens. I like how the story develops. I takes on some speed and maybe book 3 ends on a big cliffhanger?

DavidnDaria

Twilight Zone stuff, huh?

Chinookfan72

thanks Tim I’ll give it a read.

Tim ziegler

Chinookfan72 just looking at KT web site asking what book we were reading now, just finished a series I really think you like from your post,Everybody seems to know but me, by Vaughn, on amazon.

Glaucon

No I mean I did lol - it's just weird to me, the parallels in this story (with the office she's working in now being my old office, down to the exact floor).

DavidnDaria

I don't see where Devlin and Kimmy went to the same law school. Is that what you're writing or what? Just wondering.

Chinookfan72

i hope it doesn’t get deleted either, cause I enjoy your contributions to the discussions, even if we want different things in the end.

Chinookfan72

when I first read it I was completely confused, then it made sense when I read it a second time.

Glaucon

Weird parallels continue - went to the same law school as Kimmy :P Def didn't study as hard as she did haha. Wonder if she went to the same parties? Bet those'd be some tough nights for Josh.

Glaucon

I'm taking this as just her wanting to make Josh cum hard, not specific to a dynamic or position that she had with Devlin. It's a classic guilt behaviour - channeling the guilt into overcompensation to the unwittingly wronged party.

DavidnDaria

I sure hope this doesn't get deleted. I think the saving grace in this chapter is both Kimmy's horrible guilt and her love for Josh. It speaks volumes that they don't have what would be considered open communications. Should this work out, they will need to overcome that. The saving grace in that situation is simple: Love. Kimmy and Josh will have to love each other like they've never loved anyone before. This is fiction, but it makes me feel like I don't want to have them fall apart. Will they? I hope not. I hope they, through KT's imagination, find what they need with each other because right now, both are less apart. Soon, if this follows real life, there will be a turning point. A point at which someone has to step up to make things right. In my situation it was me getting my wife away from the goings on in the gym and getting away from home. In this fictional situation, it can be anything. I hope this series doesn't turn into a LHW series, but if it does, so be it. Reality isn't any less weird. So, if this my last post here, let me thank everyone for welcoming me in the original blog. It has been a great thing.

Chinookfan72

so I’m a little confused at the ending.. I thought Devlin used his hand. If she’s getting on her knees isn’t she making Josh cum the same way she got Devin to cum? Or is it supposed to be Josh getting on his knees and Kimmy is going to make him submit and do the same things Devlin had Kimmy do to him? The way it’s written if she was going to make a Josh cum 5he way Devlin made her cum, wouldn’t she just jack him off? Although it could be just that Kimmy wants to give the type of orgasm she got from Devlin (a huge one). That would make sense. Of all these scenarios I prefer the one the where she makes Josh get on his knees... if we are talking about juxtaposition this would be a 10. Alpha kimmy at home vs. sub Kimmy at work..
