If it were me I would increase the time span over maybe 3 months so much has happened in a 4-5 week span that it just doesn't feel right. One thing is sure is there is at least one period in there.

These chapters since the hiatus have been "Kimmy in full control" mode of both the men in her life. As James said, I doubt this can continue, Devlin (and maybe ever Josh in a way) are going to exert more control.
