Great insight, KT. Saying i thought it was "odd" was the wrong choice of words, "interesting" would have been better. Mostly because she was so instrumental during their time together in giving him a "shove" down this path. Like he would be wondering how she could seemingly so accurately predict this path. Then again, he's so hyper-focused on Chey, that it makes sense he would have no other thoughts in his head other than the duality of hating this, yet loving it, and wanting to give Chey everything she wants in this moment due to his overwhelming love (hence the hero). It will be interesting to see what Chey takes out of this. I've been dogging her pretty hard for her bad takes (IMO) regarding selfishness, jealousy and deceit. I REALLY like how INTO each other they are. I'm a bit worried for Sully in regards to Philippe, but Scarlet, at least to me, seems to filter a lot of her actions/thoughts through how it will affect Sully. Some of that means she can be a bit mean at times, but never in a way where she loses sight of their relationship coming first. (Something i feel Chey could learn from her, as she needs it badly)

I was hoping you would give us everyone's point of view, because I felt the scene needed it, so we could grasp how each person is reacting to the spectacle, and how it affects each of them differently. So happy you did that. I will say I find it a bit odd that Byron had no thought of Carla in this scenario, given to this point, she has always been wrapped up in his thoughts on this subject, including her being the one to push him towards this moment because she thought he'd enjoy it like she enjoys watching Cody.
