He set his almost-empty glass of moonshine down on the table with a quiet but heavy thud, stepped rearward and sat back down on the edge of the bed. His brow had settled low over his eyes, darting left and right at the people sitting opposite. He licked his lips, ran a hand through his hair, his auditory processing coming very slow.
“Wait a second.”
Scarlet’s smile grew wider and her eyes narrowed. There was a look of malevolent glee in her beautiful gaze that amused him. It also confirmed what he thought he was hearing.
Philippe said, “That’s where my negotiation begins. If I’m serving too much, you can send some of it back.” He rested his elbows on the chair’s arms and linked his fingers together. He showed none of the mischief Scarlet did.
Scarlet said, “It’s a generous offer. I can’t imagine anyone would send that back. . . . Wouldn’t you say, Sully?”
His brow didn’t raise, eyes darting from Philippe to Scarlet, then staying on Scarlet. He couldn’t help a feeling of jealousy now, wondering if she’d discussed this already with Philippe and they were springing it on him now, amused by his perplexity.
But Philippe wasn’t amused like Scarlet was. His expression looked more how Sully imagined his own expression may look: of befuddlement. It cleared Sully’s notion that this was a sandbagging. This was Scarlet’s doing, and Scarlet’s alone.
Now he smiled. Scarlet liked that, raising her eyebrows and saying to him, “What’s your opinion?”
“So you’re looking for a threesome?”
Scarlet’s brow lowered. “That’s not what I’m looking for.”
Sully looked to Philippe. Something communicated between them with no words spoken. An understanding. Perhaps by virtue of being two males in the room with a cunning female, both of them at one time or another being victims of wily women, they both seemed to comprehend their roles in Scarlet’s game. They understood their intended roles, but knew neither of them would play along.
Sully said to Scarlet, “You’d said to me earlier you didn’t want that, but now here we are, and your true intentions shine through.”
Scarlet’s chin dipped downward, and she regarded him from underneath her brow. He’d overplayed his hand, and she knew exactly what he was thinking, what he was getting at, and she was too far ahead of him to have the tables turned. They both smiled at each other with extreme affection. Even Philippe smiled, amused at the antics of a married couple who enjoyed the struggle for dominance. Sully raised his face and regarded her, his eyebrows high and superior, smiling and engaged.
Scarlet said, “Our friend here began negotiations and opened with a very large offer. You don’t have anything to say about it?”
“What’s there to say? You’re right.” He nodded a chin to Philippe in a gesture indicating respect. “It’s a great offer. Excuse my wife and I while we negotiate our own opinions.”
Philippe laughed, crossed his arms, and regarded Scarlet. “You understand,” he said to Sully, eyes still on Scarlet, “she banked on a certain wow factor, if you will. You know, my sexuality providing a big surprise.”
“Meant to knock me on my ass,” Sully said, eyes on Scarlet, too.
Scarlet knew she was being played, putting up hands to placate Philippe in case there was any offense. “It wasn’t quite like that.”
“I called her a mini Carla earlier.”
“I’m sure she didn’t like that.”
“Not one bit,” Philippe said.
Scarlet said, “First of all, I’m five-eight, and—”
“Five-seven,” Sully corrected.
Scarlet rolled her eyes. “I’m five-eight and Carla’s like four feet tall, so I’m hardly a mini Carla. Second of all—”
“I’m so fucking turned on right now,” Sully said, out of the blue, unprovoked, a total non sequitur. But a true statement. His heart pounded and his cock throbbed like an electrified iron bar. His beautiful wife Scarlet looked like prey to him right now and he was a hungry and savage lion.
The truth of his statement hit Scarlet and rattled her, breaking her out of this charade they all played. She regained her composure and looked him up and down, assessing him in a superior manner. “My, my, my,” she said. “So, I have the upper hand.”
Philippe laughed, totally amused by their banter, and Sully’s smile stretched ear to ear, studying Scarlet and rubbing his hands up and down his thighs in greedy, urgent strokes. All of this seemed to relay between him and Scarlet, like she had access to his dirty thoughts, and she inclined her head to one side, and furrowed her brows in a expression best described, as Oh, come on now.
He ignored her and turned to Philippe. “I guess you’re, what, bisexual?”
Philippe shrugged. “No big deal, right?”
“Hardly surprising,” Sully said.
Scarlet rolled her eyes around the room in an exaggerated bit of theater, a woman having to contend yet again with a bunch of boys. “What happened to our negotiations?”
Sully said, “Do you wish to subtract something from Philippe’s offer?”
Now she was a little more puzzled, and a crack showed in her lordly ramparts. “You’re into that? Him doing all that?”
Sully raised his chin, looking down his nose at her. “Doing what?”
Scarlet’s smile returned, realizing her husband wanted to embarrass her by making her say it out loud. “Making you come, Sully.”
“Tell me what response you expected from me?”
Scarlet laced her fingers together and lay her enjoined hands in her lap. Silenced. Knowing she’d been bested. And damn it, seeing her that way made his dick flex. Pre-come pulsed into his underwear.
He said, “I was content to let me wife spend some time alone with you, Philippe, here in your tidy room. She’d tell me later what happened.”
“But now,” Philippe said, “you’re glad she lured you down here.”
“I am.”

“I’m not sure.”
“Do you think she even knows?”
Sully shook his head. Scarlet loosened her hands, picked an imaginary thread off her shorts leg and shooed it away, pretending to ignore them.
Sully said, “How about it, Scarlet? Do you know what you want?”
“Isn’t that what negotiations are for?”
Philippe said, “So, we’re still negotiating?”
“I know what I want,” Sully said.
Scarlet looked his way, a sparkle of enjoyment returned to her eyes. “Tell me then.”
“You called me in here. You just can’t bear to be without me, even for a minute.” Philippe laughed, and Sully continued, saying, “I’m touched. I’m flattered. You can tell yourself this was all about some power game you were playing, but the truth is you didn’t want to be alone.”
“How sweet,” Philippe said and Scarlet looked over at him, unperturbed but aroused by the path of their negotiations. Philippe looked to Sully. “Why don’t we start there—”
Scarlet said, “Start where?”
Philippe said to Sully, disregarding Scarlet, “Show me how you make her come.”
Scarlet scoffed. “I’m not some biology class frog you two science perverts can dissect and see how poking a part of my brain will make my leg kick.”
“That’s astoundingly accurate,” Sully said. “That’s exactly what we’re going to do.”
Philippe said, “Substitute brain with pussy.”
“Yes, exactly.”
“You guys are so ridiculous,” she said drolly, playing with her neck. The blush on her cheeks had reddened and her nipples’ fabric bulge had grown even more pronounced.
“Let me act as my wife’s agent a moment. I need to negotiate on her behalf.”
“This isn’t what she wanted?”
“Who knows how her brain works; it’s a mystery to me. But she stated clearly to me her expectations of what she would do in here with you.”
Philippe said, “Is that right?”
“Yes, yes, she did,” Sully said as Scarlet thumbed her lower lip, smirking and eyeing him with a restrained lust hidden behind a mask of sporty indifference.
“My wife came here for one thing and one thing only.”
Philippe snapped his fingers like a brilliant revelation had come to him. “Oh, right. Her thing for things.”
“Oh, she told you already?”
Scarlet laughed and looked to the ceiling, shaking her head, her graceful hand stroking her own throat. “Yes, Sully. I told him, you’ll be glad to know.”
“You weren’t down here that long, even.”
“When you came down, I was sitting in his lap with his shorts unzipped.”
“You move fast.”
“I don’t waste time when I know what I want.”
“You’re sitting here stalling right now, stalling for a quarter hour. I think you talk a bigger game than you play.”
“I had my hand on his bulge, my lovely Sully boy. What do you think of that?”
“I don’t know. Why don’t you tell me what you thought of it?”
Scarlet scooted forward in her seat, eyes above now with a renewed energy. “I thought Philippe and I were off to a good start.”
Philippe sat straighter like Scarlet, leaning into their troika’s circle, saying to Sully, “She certainly is eager.”
“A real eager beaver, you might say.” Sully’s eyes were locked on Scarlet’s, both of them staring at each other with baleful desire. Philippe chuckled at his zinger of a double entendre.
“Look,” Scarlet said, “I’m glad you guys are getting along so well, but if you think you two hound dogs are going to pull me apart like a chew toy—”
“Not you,” Philippe said.
“Not me what?”
Sully said, “We’re not going to pull you apart.”
“No,” Philippe agreed. “Just your legs.”
That shut his beautiful strong-headed wife up and he couldn’t stop a broad smile spreading as she went hollow-cheeked and walleyed, realizing they were going to have their way with her and she would struggle with them and shit talk them but she would surrender to them in the end, give them what they want and let them take from her things she didn’t know she had to give. Scarlet had never been more beautiful to him. This was a facet of the woman he loved he’d never seen before, and it was the kind of thing he could get addicted to.
He said to Philippe, “She came here for one thing. Maybe you shouldn’t disappoint her.”
Philippe nodded, his expression grave and resigned; a man who was used to this moment, the moment where he revealed his implement of masculine power. He stood now and Sully’s eyes stayed glued to Scarlet as her face turned up to regard Philippe, gaze lowering to where his hands gathered to unbutton his shorts and draw down the zipper. Her throat flexed as she swallowed a hard anticipatory gulp.
“Let her do it,” Sully said, edging closer, his butt almost off the edge of the mattress now.
Philippe walked closer, his shorts unzipped and unbuttoned, staying up from the bulk of Philippe’s muscular ass. Sully watched as his wife’s hands went to the faded khaki front of Philippe’s cotton shorts and stroked over the material, exploring, skirting around the obvious and generous bulge of concealed meat.
Sully stood, unzipping and unbuttoning his own shorts, walking to stand close and side by side to Philippe, both men with male packages presented to the hottest woman on the yacht. Well, isn't this just luscious. That statement from the last chapter didn't quite compute with me when I read it, but it makes perfect sense, especially given Philippe's prior multifaceted relationship. One really wonders what happened with him and Paloma. I also love how they ganged up on Scarlet. I firmly believe her intention was to have a bit of fun with Philippe and use that to get Sully riled up so they could go back to their room for some wild fun. Not that she doesn't want more, but she has always shown that she prioritizes her and Sully's experiences as a combined effort, a partnership of exploration, rather than putting her own wants first (ala Chey). Maybe it's more accurate to say that Scarlet does want Philippe, but she wants even more to experience something new and spectacular WITH Sully rather than having Philippe without him there.The fact that Sully is teaming up with Philippe to give Scarlet something amazing, and what she deserves, is awesome, especially because of the funny interactions where they are turning the tables on her Carla-esque machinations.
