Scarlet looked to Paloma now, standing expectantly, her monster-dick husband acting as some sort of talent scout, finding two of their friends who would play their games with them.
But were she and Sully the kind to play their games? It had seemed they were last night, the way it had all come together in such a supportive and amicable way. Paloma came nearer to Scarlet, her posture slackened with concern, her brows tented. “I am too strong, yes?”

“I think maybe that is more exciting,” Paloma said, cocking one eyebrow and smiling.

Paloma said, “You do now.”
Scarlet grimaced, then made reluctant eye contact with Paloma. What was it that scared her off this roost so bad? Was it because she’d been in charge last night and now it didn’t seem like she was in charge at all? That’s what Sully would say if she’d had a chance to talk to him first.
Paloma’s chin dipped down, and she lowered her gaze so it was even with Scarlet’s, not above hers. Paloma was tall. That was part of it, too. Paloma laid a hand on Scarlet’s shoulder. “I know what you need.”
“You do?”

“Earn your trust,” Philippe said, and Paloma agreed with his clarification.
Sully got Scarlet’s attention, and she faced him. He said, “What do you think? It was good last night...”
“Well, that’s another thing: I’m not sure I’m ready for another round just yet.”
Paloma cocked her head and Sully said, “She’s still recuperating.”

That's the million dollar question, isn't it, Byron? I could see Carla and Cody wanting something similar with Byron and Chey and deciding to test the waters and see their reaction, though i'm not really convinced that's it. It feels more like Carla manipulating the scenario to stir things up. Whether that's to stress Chey out and pay her back somewhat for her bitchy sabotage of Byron and Carla being together or something else... not sure. The night's still young so that sabotage could be reversed. We'll see. I am more than a bit confused as to Sully's reaction of shame and guilt to watching Paloma undress. Feels off given he just watched Scarlet ogle the hell out of Philippe while he was doing the same? Not that it matters much because Scarlet was obviously not that fussed about it. She's much more worried about the end goal here, not the start line. If anyone should be ashamed, it's Scarlet. Last night was all about her... and this night, whish she should want to be all about Sully because that would be fair to make it his turn, is shaping up to be all about her again. Although i think that's mostly because Paloma and Philippe both have figured out fairly quickly that Scarlet's the one with cold feet. They have to make her the focus to convince her that this will work, Sully's the easy one in this scenario. Given Scarlet's propensity for fairness and stating she wanted good things for Sully in the past, i'm guessing (or at least hoping) that once she's past this funk she'll maneuver things so it's more about Sully and showing him some affection via Paloma since he was basically starved of it all day having been mostly ignored. A hot tub is ripe for some fun times! While Scarlet is nowhere near as bad as Chey, it's become quite obvious they are two of the luckiest women in the world because they both can be selfish bitches (Chey quite often) and they've got two husbands that put up with their awfulness a lot more than they should.
