I hope KT posts the next chapter tonight. I’m dying to see where the time jump takes us. What am I going to do when this book is over? KT, you are my favourite writer. Your writing is addictive. This book is so much more than a “bully-cuckold-romance-drama.” It’s an addictive, captivating read. If this were a complete book, I would have finished it so fast.

Glenn, that’s someone I didn’t think of. I just want the video leaked. Imagine the humiliation it would cause poor Devlin. Maybe to the Chinese investors and to their graduating class at Dalton High.

A prime candidate for Kimmy to leak that video to, where it’d cause a certain amount of comeuppance on Devlin, would probably be Glenn. Devlin and Amy both mentioned that Glenn did not like they were still involved; a graphic visual representation of their connection (such as it is) may end up causing him to pull his money from Devlin’s venture. I think he needs that money, more than he even needs Kimmy. He’d need Kimmy to keep it going long term, but to get it off the ground, he needs Glenn.

Hi Glaucon, I believe the 'epilogue' must be changed even if it is merely by what has 'now' preceded it... but also can't imagine KT not tinkering around and refining it. I may be wrong... but, at least as an author and like her magnificent characters, I imagine she 'can resist anything but temptation.' But my mind boggles at what 'this' might mean... "We are in the funnest territory and I can't wait to show you how DITW ends up. It's going to be fun (for me)!" Badder than bad Kimmy... The worst!

If there is any sort of reconciliation I suspect there will be lingering ambiguity of the child's true parentage even to the end.

I'm curious, I think it was back around just before throwing the chair in the hotel room with Kimmy and Devlin and Josh when KT was asking if the ending should be extended or not... Does that mean the truncated version was going to be this next epilogue book right after that? Was the ending going to be any different in that version?

My thought is we’re flashing ahead to the point where Kimmy is about to have the baby, or further to the point where she’s getting out of jail for the theft. Feels like those are 2 very important points. If she’s having the baby (and perhaps about to go to jail), it’s going to be imperative in her mind to have Josh accept raising it. If we flash way ahead, we’d also get to see a timeline where Josh may be trying to rebuild his life without Kimmy, but maybe Kimmy is also trying to rebuild her life by trying to win Josh back.

I still want a HEA whatever that means for the Waters. This last chapter was so brutal. I can’t stop thinking about it. Josh should seek comfort elsewhere before that happens, though. He deserves it.

I am with you. I think I prefer Comedic with a (HEA). I want there to be angst. Maybe Josh is in another relationship and the baby is Josh's. Somehow Josh and Kimmy find there way back to each other.

What a fun question, Andrew! My take is that there could be 4 discrete closing paths for Book 15, depending on KT's inclination: * Comedic (HEA) * Tragic (Heartbreak for everyone) * Sober (Neither happy nor sad.) * Horrific (One of our protagonists is consumed by dark emotion, leading to one or more disturbing/very intense outcomes) I'm rooting for either comedic or horrific. DITW has been so epic, I'd love to see it finish with a bang.

Yes, I do, too. Devlin needs some comeuppance in this story. Sure he’s an asshole and stupid, and Kimmy knew what she was doing, but if anyone deserves justice it’s Devlin. He’s got a thing for Josh, as well. It’s time things stop going his way.

Omg, I just read the first few sentences without my glasses on, and thought the last chapter was the end of the book! KT, I have loved this book so much, and while I’m dying to read what happens, I want you to write the ending that you have envisioned.

Predictions for the next chapters? Due to the time jump. Will Josh and Kimmy be separated or divorced? Did Josh go to Italy and find someone else? Did Kimmy have the baby? Who is the daddy? Did she go to jail for theft and is she still working at Stone? What happened to Hyun? What happened to Devlin? Would it be funny if the last chapter ended at high school reunion party like the first chapter? Will there be HEA? Anyone have any predictions for any of these questions.
