A little follow up to my update

Just a little follow-up to my post from a couple of days ago.
Thank you so much for the kind words of support and cheer, it's very much draining to have to uproot your life to move, even if it's just 2 blocks away, plus all the unexpected expenses that comes with it.
I won't say we're struggling because we're not exactly, at least not at this point in time but our savings will need to be tapped in to pay for some stuff, mostly to repair the holes left from the AC units we installed in the house, we offered the landlord to keep them in exchange for a rent discount but he entirely declined and said "take them with you" so now we have to pay someone to do the job, it sucks but I guess this guy just wants the house as it was given to us, I don't know why he wouldn't want something that would improve the property but whatever at this point, I've started to give no fucks.
The new place does have AC but in just one room so we'll definitely reinstall the ones we have here over there, it's just the expense of the technician that will have to do the job.
Some of you asked if you could leave a tip somewhere for a little extra and I do have a ko-fi account but please do not feel like you need send anything, I'll leave it here in case you wanna us to have some take out during our move cuz half my kitchen is already packed 😅 I do need coffee tho, lots of it 😜

We get the keys to the new place on the 26th so I'll be spending new years literally moving, so I guess we'll start the year off extremely fresh.
I'm feeling better than what where I was a week ago, this feels like we're getting to close a chapter in this book and begin a new one before the big finale comes which is getting our own place and I look forward for when that time comes, for now, we just have to hang in there and make the best of this situation, hopefully this will be our last move before we find our forever home.
Thank you all for the virtual hugs, you have no idea how much it means to me. I've always felt alone whenever I've had to move, I've moved 9 times ever since I left my mom's place at 17, every single time I was a mess, I see how long I've come and where I started and I can't believe how much life improved with each move, even if it was short lived, I have a different feeling this time around, I'm definitely not alone, even Primer-Kun is already signed up and ready to help me move things too, poor thing having to carry all those big boxes for such a little can 😂 it feels like his is really actually very positive so I now look forward to putting up my new workroom over there, the only issue this time is that there will be no Christmas this year for us 🥲 there will be next year to look forward to putting up a tree and decorating the house, but I'm definitely roasting my ham today to have all week, I cannot go a Christmas without delicious ham.

dude likes to make it harder for everyone ig, can't imagine why you wouldn't want aircon installed and ready for use if *your own son* is moving there shortly lmao? but glad that you guys aren't struggling financially with the sudden moving out, that's a relief! good luck with everything, warm hugs <3

i understand the feeling, ive moved 5 times in just the 7 years since i moved out of my dad's, it never gets any easier it seems lol . i hope you guys are able to buy your own house soon !! putting positive vibes out there for the move to be smooth and the ham to be even more delicious than usual

I feel that. I've had to move more than 20 times in my life, and it does become oh so draining. Just please don't worry yourself about getting channel things done aside from appeasing the algorithm gods if you must. Most of us are patient and simply look forward to when you're able to show us what you're working on, whenever that may be. :) ♡

I'm glad, despite the crappy situation, that you're able to see the brighter side of it. Change can be good or bad, what determines it is you. Looking forward to see the new setup! I wonder where a little neon kitty lamp will end up 😇 Hopefully the move won't be too shitty.
