SaS Ch. 46 - Important Announcement
🕑 Added 2025-06-26 17:00:06 +0000 UTCHello lovely readers! I would like to apologize in advance for the slightly clickbait-y title. However, I wouldn't use such language if I didn't think it was truly important.
What's so dramatic about the upcoming chapter?
Without getting into any specifics, Chapter 46 is pretty important. To properly convey the story, I purposely buck quite a few formatting and grammar conventions. However, Patreon isn't really built in a way that gives me adequate control over the formatting of my text posts. I can't align text to center or right, and they even delete extra line spaces I put in for dramatic effect.
As a writer, I always strive to make my stories as enjoyable as I can for my audience. This is the first time that I've really brushed up against the limitations of how I traditionally publish my work, and so I've put together a workaround.
Tomorrow, when the chapter officially publishes, I'll be posting two different versions. One will be the standard version, and one will essentially be nothing but a download link for a PDF version of the chapter.
I HIGHLY recommend that you download the PDF instead of reading the standard post.
I want both to be available for accessibility reasons, obviously, but I cannot stress how much better this chapters reads with its intended formatting. The story, and the words portraying it, need space to breathe, and that's just not possible on Patreon.

You'd think patreon would implement nice text display options with all the traffic. I like the idea with the pdf very much!

I've been looking into ways to exert more control over the formatting on both sites. I don't think I'll be able to make a perfect recreation of my vision for this chapter, but I think I'll be able to approximate it. Honestly, Literotica and AO3 both give me more control over text formatting than Patreon does.

I know you post SaS on Literotica, and I think on AO3. Will they let you control the formatting sufficiently?
