Wow, that intro hit me right in the feels! It's something I've noticed with anime music (opening/ending), but couldn't put into words so far. And of course, with video game music, especially Final Fantasy X, which for me is the crystallization (heh, get it?) of "beautiful melancholy". It really has a special quality. Anyways, while I'm unfortunately not enough into making music to take on the workshop, I thought I'd make this note :) if ever I get to make Japanese-like music, I'll definitely get back to this, looks great!
