🕑 Added 2025-02-25 19:52:23 +0000 UTCEven so I did nothing new this month, there are still regular updates. This time it was Ralamians:
In Lore, Scribe (or Narrator) pointed out that Ralamians always refer to themselves in third person. Yet most importantly is the fact that Coloration of hair, as much as gems, is affected by genetics and permanent, while skin coloration is heavily ensued from ongoing selection of food and can be changed just in a few months depending on which type, and part, of silica-rich plants Ralamians regularly consumed. Thus it is also easy to discern when Ralamians are ailing or malnutritioned – their skin looses its hue and turn more ashen and pale. For that, I changed Main Reference Sheet with this simple scheme to understand types of food and how it affects coloration.
Regarding other Artworks, everything was touched with some little details, except for Feet Affinity - it was perfect anyway. Unaffiliated received most of changes, limbs were too fat for a Ralamian (and still are), but worst of all: foot on a floor was a wrong one! It was a left foot on a right leg!
Next month you will see probably the biggest overhaul. I was not intelligent enough about material Dova use for clothes... Narrator (or Scribe) was scolding me that I was drawing Dova wearing so much stuff made of regular textile. Something like that won't survive water for long and may easily mold. Instead they would use such materials as tanned and dyed fish skin or kelp fabric. For that, there are changes in Dova clothes. I already experimented with that on Rivalry Artwork from January. Feet Affinity is already greatly changed... I didn't like stuff she wears anyway.
Regarding changes to other Lore that was released alongside Ralamians, which is "Engifted Doctrines", there is nothing important, just wording.
But here is a sneaky-peaky at next months:
