The side menu unfolds from a third-person perspective, unlike the first-person protagonist -
This section connects to Chapter 4, the episode with Landlord Mr. Lee.
Landlord Mr. Lee, who rented the semi-basement studio to Seo Na-yeon, was a 49-year-old middle-aged man with half-balding hair like a half-octopus.
Though he had a wife, their relationship was distant. They hadn't had sex for over 10 years, and with no children plus his wife discovering he had spent quite a bit of money at massage parlors, their marital relationship had rapidly cooled.
"That bitch. As if she's not fucking other men herself"
In fact, it was a forced marriage arranged by their parents, so their relationship wasn't that good to begin with. For Mr. Lee, it was hard to feel sexual attraction to his wife who had aged and gotten fat from poor weight management, and his wife also hadn't felt attraction to Mr. Lee as a man for a long time, with his premature aging from sun exposure due to working in construction and his rapidly balding head.
So Mr. Lee, though prematurely aged but still vigorous, had barely had proper sex for 10 years. Until his early 40s, he had resolved it by going to room salons and massage parlors while entertaining company guests, but entering his late 40s, even that entertainment had waned. The massage parlor girls also didn't like taking older customers much.
"Ugh. Ptooey! Damn it"
Moreover, after quitting the construction company he worked for last year, he had acquired an old studio apartment building with 4 floors plus a semi-basement, using his inheritance from his father plus his savings and severance pay. Located on the outskirts of Seoul at the foot of a mountain, the 40-year-old dilapidated building could be acquired for just over 1 billion won with a loan, and since he could cover living expenses with the monthly rent, he had been living an idle life lately without any other side jobs.
In other words, he was spending very boring days without children or stimulation. With male menopause symptoms on top of that, he was living colorless days with little joy in life. If he had children, they would be school-age by now and he could have felt fulfillment watching them grow. But with the poor marital relationship, it was impossible to have a late child now.
"Let's see. Semi-basement room 2..."
Even he had something to do today. Collecting overdue rent from the newlywed living in the semi-basement.
He hadn't even seen her face yet since his wife had rented out the room, not him.
"She's already married but still in her 20s? And has children?"
Mr. Lee's ear recalled his vicious wife's voice.
'From what I saw, that bitch looks like she'll eat her husband alive. Tsk tsk, that look in her eyes. She seems like bad news. In this day and age, relying only on her husband's income and not working at that young age. Anyway, she's already 4 months behind, so collect it strictly without leniency. Got it? If you can't collect it, deduct it from the deposit without mercy!'
Though it was tough love, Mr. Lee, who had lived with her for 20 years, automatically translated the woman-speak to 'She's oozing with sex appeal' 'Don't get distracted by that bitch and don't go easy on her out of softness!'
'I wonder what she looks like for her to say that'
Mr. Lee, secretly expectant, was conscious of his receding hairline and smoothed it down while looking in the window before going down the stairs to the semi-basement.
"Ahem. Ahem! Young lady! Come out here"
His wife said she doesn't work and just lazes around, so she should be home even now during the day. Hoping to have less of an argument and collect the overdue rent quickly, he deliberately called out in a low, intimidating voice, but was worried if it would work well.
Indeed, there was a busy rustling sound from inside and soon the door opened
"Oh my! Hello. What brings you here?"
As the door opened, it felt like spring had returned for Landlord Mr. Lee.
'Holy shit... wow!'
In his 49 years of life, Mr. Lee had naturally seen quite a few women. Female clients who came to the architecture office as building owners, room salon girls and karaoke helpers he saw while entertaining, and many women working in various entertainment establishments.
But he had never seen a female as voluptuous and sexy as the one who opened the door halfway now.
"Ahem... hmm... um, well"
Perhaps because he was unnecessarily nervous, his voice trembled finely and he had to take several breaths. Mr. Lee's face and half-balding scalp turned bright red like boiled octopus sashimi.
And blood rushed uncontrollably to his groin as well.
'This fucking bitch... what was I here for again?'
Coming to his senses and looking at the woman again, he understood why he had momentarily lost his mind.
Her face itself wasn't an incredibly beautiful celebrity-level beauty, but among ordinary people she was easily in the top 1%, a 9 out of 10 looks. The kind you might see two or three of in a whole grade. With fair skin and a small face alone she was already quite above average, but her features were also clearly defined and gorgeously beautiful.
'Damn, this fucking bitch really looks bewitching!'
Not just her pretty looks, but especially her slightly downturned eyes caught his attention. Usually that gives a cute puppy-like impression, but this woman's downturned eyes gave off a strong sensual aura, looking decadent rather than cute. To Mr. Lee, who had encountered many women in the entertainment industry, this newlywed looked like she was born for that line of work.
But looking just at her face, he had seen one or two similar level beauties before. This woman's real weapon was her body. She was quite tall for a woman at about 172cm, with slender arms, calves, and ankles.
But her breasts were quite large and grope-able... wearing the so-called 'Dongtan look', a gray tank dress with a deep neckline that blatantly revealed their contours. She was even braless, embarrassingly showing her nipple shapes. A normal woman would cover her chest with her hands, but this woman slightly twisted her body, deliberately taking a pose to show off her cleavage and erect nipples.
'Ah. I want to fuck her'
Her outfit, looks, and body were such that any normal man would think that way. Still, Mr. Lee had a purpose, so he tried hard to gather his wits and spoke.
"Well, um... you're already four months behind on rent"
Trying to compose himself and imitate a gentlemanly voice, he struggled to direct his gaze that kept going to her cleavage back to her face.
"I'm so sorry... I've been looking for work..."
But even her soft voice mixed with nasality was bewitching. Mr. Lee had to forcibly hold back his drooling.
"Well... but there's still a contract..."
"I know... I'm sorry. But it's rude to keep you outside... would you like to come in for some tea?"
"Ahem... a-alright"
Just then this bewitching woman invites him inside. Seeing a chance to talk longer and feast his eyes, Mr. Lee's face lit up as he followed the newlywed into the studio.
'Holy shit... damn!'
But seeing the newlywed's backside as she led the way, Mr. Lee felt like he was about to lose his mind.
This foxy woman's real weapon wasn't her quite large breasts or pretty, sexy face, but her lower body.
'Whoa...! What the hell kind of ass is that...?!'
The newlywed's lower body was so overwhelming that vulgar words involuntarily came to mind. Especially her buttocks, a size he had never seen on Korean women who usually have narrow hips and flat butts.
Her wide hips, very thick thigh muscles, and thin waist created a perfect cola bottle-like streamlined curve that was revealed unfiltered through the skin-tight Dongtan look dress. Moreover, her butt wasn't flat like most Korean women, but incredibly voluptuous like Latin women from Brazil.
It was a lower body that made crude words like 'soybean paste jar' come to mind rather than just 'butt', an insanely arousing lower body.
Mr. Lee followed her into the room with his mouth open, his dick so hard it felt like he might cum just from a slight touch.
But disappointingly... there were uninvited guests in the room.
Young children with bright, sparkling eyes.
"Oh, hello?"
"Who are you, mister?"
"Hm? Ah, I'm the landlord"
"Oh..."
"Haha... you're elementary schoolers? How old are you?"
"I'm... 10 years old"
"10? My, your mom looks so young"
How old is this woman anyway? Thirty? Though she looked decadent, her face itself was quite young-looking so he had thought she was about 20.
"Well... I had them quite young..."
"Is that so? How old are you now?"
"Me? I'm 24..."
"What?! How did..."
Holy shit. Damn.
Landlord Mr. Lee struggled to grasp his reeling mind.
He slightly understood why a woman who looked like this, with this face and body, was stuck in a semi-basement home when most women would have found their calling and left.
But business is business. Gathering his dizzied wits, Mr. Lee brought up the overdue rent...
"...I'm sorry. If you could just give us a little more time..."
"That's why I've been patient for four months... I've been very lenient because you're young, but..."
The overdue rent wasn't just a small amount, but 1.8 million won. Though Mr. Lee was relatively well-off financially, he was still just middle class, so it wasn't an amount he could easily overlook.
But as the unyielding Mr. Lee watched the newlywed, her gaze seemed to turn slightly dangerous
"...It's hard to talk here because of the kids... How about we go to your place to discuss in more detail?"
"Huh...? M-my place?"
Mr. Lee's thought process momentarily froze.
