#This is in third-person perspective.
-Rewinding time to Seo Na-yeon's first day at work
Kwak Young-cheol was two years senior to Seo Na-yeon at the same middle school. When Na-yeon entered as a first-year student, he was a third-year delinquent at the same school. And at that time, that is, from when Na-yeon entered school, he had his eye on her, but his junior Kang Tae-gu made a move first, so nothing developed between them.
After she got pregnant, she was too embarrassed and immediately dropped out of school, so they had no chance to meet.
Always harboring those regretful feelings, Kwak Young-cheol grew up to be an excellent thug. Even in high school, he was already involved in illegal tattoos, dabbled in drug dealing, and gathered runaway kids to raise as his minions. The delinquent organization he created in high school was infamous in the area for its systematic and persistent debt collection.
He was quite skilled at these illegal and violent activities, probably because his father was a fairly well-known gangster. You could say he was a true-born criminal.
Kwak Young-cheol's father, Kwak Tae-yong, was also a corporate-style gangster who dabbled in illegal gambling, prostitution, and human trafficking without discrimination. He was quite capable in those fields and had already amassed considerable wealth. So while in a normal family Young-cheol's school days would have immediately resulted in broken legs, to his father Tae-yong, it was practically satisfactory heir training.
"Kid. Not bad? Want to take over a business? Try handling used cars"
"Really? Dad! Thank you!"
"Do well. Got it?"
Still, perhaps wanting to raise his son as a legitimate businessman rather than a gangster, he first handed over the used car dealership, which could be considered a legal business, excluding bars, room salons, and massage parlors from the businesses he owned, to test his business acumen.
The results were somewhat positive. Though he had no interest in studying, business sense and academic intelligence were different things.
"Good. Then try running this motel... and karaoke place too"
And so Kwak Young-cheol became a 'successful' young businessman at a young age. With money and fame coming early, what was left?
Loosening his belt and playing around.
About a year ago, his middle school junior Kang Tae-gu came sucking up to him, probably because rumors of his success had spread. He gave him a simple job, and when his aging father handed over a massage parlor, he put him in as the manager. Their personalities matched well and they got along like brothers...
But he got in trouble for losing his temper while drinking at a club and beating someone up. Unlike what he told Seo Na-yeon, it was actually Young-cheol himself who led the assault, not Tae-gu.
Fortunately, Tae-gu, who was weak to the strong and strong to the weak, was the type to bark about being loyal to Young-cheol like a dog to survive. So with a little coaxing, he was able to pin all the blame on him. Of course, he had to promise to set him up with a position after getting out of prison, but anyway, he was able to send him to prison cheaply as a scapegoat.
And while that guy was in prison, he planned to make a move on Seo Na-yeon who was left behind.
Kwak Young-cheol's method was that if you can't score a goal because the goalkeeper is guarding, you just have to destroy the goalkeeper.
'What's that bastard going to do when he gets out of prison anyway?'
Of course, since she wasn't particularly chaste even as a student and was quite wild, he thought it wouldn't be too difficult. She was a former delinquent girl after all.
"Hey, Na-yeon? It's me, oppa Young-cheol. So... Tae-gu went to prison, how are you doing these days? Are you thinking of getting a job?"
He offered Na-yeon a job, saying he was fulfilling his promise to take care of her livelihood while Tae-gu was in prison. Of course, it was to keep her close and watch for an opportunity.
"Da-hye. A new employee is starting tomorrow, teach her well. Got it?"
"A new employee?"
"Yeah"
The job he offered Na-yeon was an accountant position at the used car dealership he ran. The problem was there was already an accountant, and since it wasn't a very big business, one person was enough to handle it, but it didn't matter since he didn't hire her to actually make her work anyway.
'Ah fuck. That fucking bitch... I'm definitely going to fuck her'
Remembering Seo Na-yeon he had seen at Tae-gu's place, Kwak Young-cheol massaged his erect penis as he indulged in fantasies. Na-yeon, whom he hadn't seen in a long time, had always had a good figure, but she had grown even more appetizing in the time he hadn't seen her.
'That fucking bitch... she had two kids but hasn't aged at all. Her skin is still tight and her ass has gotten even bigger'
Kwak Young-cheol, who looked like a toad, licked his lips with a vile smile.
On her first day of work.
Seo Na-yeon stayed up all night from the tension of having her first job ever, then headed to the office she was contacted about by text. The used car dealership on the outskirts of the city. As she entered the office in a corner of the parking lot, she was met by a young woman staring blankly at her.
"Um... hello?"
"Who are you?"
"Ah... I'm Seo Na-yeon, starting work from today..."
"Oh, I see. Boss!"
Then Kwak Young-cheol came out from the inner office and greeted her warmly.
"Oh, Na-yeon's here? Wow. You dressed up a bit?"
"Yeah. I put in some effort. Anyway, thank you so much oppa. I was at a loss, really thank you"
"Sure. Well, I should help of course, no need to thank me so much. Your oppa's known for his loyalty. Ah, let me introduce you. This is our accountant Oh Da-hye"
"Ah, hello"
"Da-hye, she's my junior from middle school, please teach her well. It's probably her first job so she'll be unfamiliar, you'll need to teach her a lot at first"
"Mm. I'll work really hard. Please take care of me"
"...Ah okay..."
After greeting, Na-yeon instinctively scanned that Oh Da-hye woman again. Short, chubby figure, below average looks. Moreover, for some reason her expression was sour from the start, clearly showing she didn't like Na-yeon.
"Well, it's a bit awkward to start working right away, shall we have a cup of tea first? Da-hye. Please make two cups of coffee and bring them"
"Yes, boss..."
While Oh Da-hye was making coffee, Kwak Young-cheol and Seo Na-yeon went into the boss's office.
"Wow... is this your office, oppa? You really succeeded"
"What success. It's just a used car dealership"
"What do you mean just? I saw outside, there must be a hundred cars?"
"A hundred cars, what hundred cars haha"
While Na-yeon was looking around the office in amazement, Kwak Young-cheol started scanning Na-yeon's backside. A tight H-line mini skirt that came down just below her buttocks with coffee-colored pantyhose. It seemed obvious to anyone that this woman had an ulterior motive.
'This fucking bitch dressed appropriately from her first day at work? Fuck, her ass is really something'
Kwak Young-cheol was a pervert with a philosophy. Of the shit posts that often come up on the internet, for 'Breasts vs Hips' he was unconditionally on team hips. A mindless hip supporter.
His theory was that even a woman without breasts looks like a woman if she has hips, but a woman with only breasts and no hips is no different from a man.
To such a Kwak Young-cheol, Seo Na-yeon with her 43-inch hip circumference was more than qualified for the title of 'Female I Definitely Want to Fuck' No. 1. Moreover, not only were her hips wide, but her breasts were quite large too and her face was pretty in a sexy way... Above all, the tight H-line ultra-mini skirt emphasizing her large buttocks also stimulated Kwak Young-cheol.
Young-cheol's penis, which had a piercing in it from wanting to knock her down right away, twitched inside his pants.
'Still, I should take it slow...'
Thinking that, his gaze was fixed on that bewitching ass as if entranced, when Na-yeon seemed to notice and glanced back slightly. But even though she noticed that lecherous gaze, Na-yeon didn't show it and asked nonchalantly.
"So what kind of work will I be doing, oppa?"
"Huh? Ah, well..."
Just then, Oh Da-hye with her sour expression came in with coffee, her mouth slightly protruding.
"Here you go..."
"Oh thanks Da-hye"
After placing the coffee on the tea table in front of the sofa, Oh Da-hye left with a huff. It's not like she was openly picking a fight on the first day. Na-yeon, feeling frustrated, complained to Kwak Young-cheol.
"That unni doesn't seem to like me? Why is she like that?"
"Don't worry. She probably just doesn't like teaching a new employee. Anyway, she's our company's accountant, you just need to assist her"
"Really? I've never done accounting work before... Math? Arithmetic? Anyway, you need to be good at that stuff right? Will I... be able to do well?"
"Haha... you just need to do as you're told. It's not that difficult... actually just leave the work to her. You just need to run errands"
"Really?"
"Yeah. Since I made a promise to Tae-gu anyway, don't feel too burdened and work comfortably"
"Haah. I'm nervous. This is my first time working like this"
And so Seo Na-yeon's work life began.
And so Seo Na-yeon's life as a new employee began... but of course, she was terribly bad at the job.
"Ms. Na-yeon. No... didn't I just tell you? When using Excel, press the function key like this... oh geez"
Na-yeon was a middle school dropout, or rather, she barely got a GED without properly attending middle school, and had only done housework and childcare at home. Even when she was in school, she rarely focused on class, so she had almost no basic common sense or knowledge.
Of course, there are cases of people who excel at work with innate business sense even without proper formal education... but Na-yeon wasn't even good at that. Naturally, her supervisor Oh Da-hye was extremely frustrated
"No... forget it. I'll just do it myself. Geez..."
"...I'm sorry"
On top of Oh Da-hye's scolding (though she was actually holding back a lot), who didn't like Na-yeon coming from the start, even tasks she could have done got messed up from nervousness.
Na-yeon's mood, which had been all smiles until arriving at work in the morning, was rapidly deflated.
'Man, this bitch is really empty-headed'
Even Kwak Young-cheol, who gave her the job while harboring other thoughts, shook his head at her frustrating and incompetent appearance.
Document work she was doing for the first time in her life, no, office work itself, no, work itself didn't suit Na-yeon. Come to think of it, how could Na-yeon, who had never even properly read a textbook in her life, understand anything from organizing documents or reading work contracts, no matter how simple they were said to be?
Having never done proper work before, even simple accounting tasks felt completely blocked up, like trying to swallow rice cakes without water.
In this situation, her self-esteem hit rock bottom from the first day of work in the face of reality.
Even Seo Na-yeon herself thought it would be better to just stay home and watch the kids.
But she couldn't really throw away the job from the first day just because it was frustrating.
Now that her husband was gone, she really had to take care of the family's livelihood alone, but even she thought she wouldn't be able to get a normal job, so the future looked bleak.
And the bigger problem was that even Seo Na-yeon herself could see there was no reason for this company to have two accountants. It was literally an unnecessary position created solely out of Kwak Young-cheol's goodwill. That's why Oh Da-hye's expression was so sour, thinking she might be pushed out and fired.
That meant... honestly, she was unnecessary surplus personnel who could be fired at any time without it being strange. That fact dug into Na-yeon's already rock-bottom self-esteem all the way to the inner core.
'Hah... I really am a hopeless woman, aren't I?'
Document work she was doing for the first time in her life, no, office work itself, no, work itself didn't suit Na-yeon. To the point where she thought it would be better to just stay home and watch the kids.
"Hey Na-yeon. We have a company dinner tonight, finish up work quickly and let's go"
"Huh? Company dinner?"
"We need to have a welcome dinner for the new employee."
So when Kwak Young-cheol suddenly approached from behind and put his hand on her shoulder pretending to be friendly but acting burdensome, Seo Na-yeon couldn't think to brush off his hand.
Because she couldn't get fired from here.
