'Even though I prepared so hard for a week, I'm still nervous for my first mission?'
Eugene Schneider stood in front of the large mirror in his room at the Grand Duke's mansion.
A week had passed since he received his greatsword armor from the Black Hair Forge.
He was now fully equipped again.
The reason being that today was his first quest since joining the Red Fox Mercenary Group.
Though it was only his second time in full gear,
For about 4 days he had trained with the greatsword while wearing most of the key armor pieces, both during the day and into the evening.
With the greatsword sheathed on his back, he cut an impressive figure.
However, his novice eyes couldn't hide the obvious tension.
'For the past four days, Thomas came every night to spar and check my form. He said my face value skills are more than enough.'
Since obtaining the greatsword, Eugene had devoted himself daily to training with the massive weapon and basic physical conditioning.
As the departure date approached, he felt he should gain some minimal practical experience through sparring.
But since Jeanne never returned,
Eugene had no choice but to fill his sparring schedule through Thomas, who periodically reported on the mercenary group's activities.
'Let's have confidence. Mother is watching over me!'
Clang!
Eugene tapped the chest of his armor reflected in the full-length mirror, giving himself a final boost of confidence.
Inside that armor was embroidery given as a homecoming gift by his adoptive mother, Marianne de Sel Orléans.
"Elizabeth, it's me. Can I come in?"
"Yes, you may enter, dear brother."
Having finished preparations and about to depart,
Eugene stopped by Elizabeth's room.
Elizabeth, who had heard in advance the date of Eugene's first quest,
Had told him the night before to stop by her room before leaving, saying she had something to give him.
"Take this with you, dear brother. If you consume this, you'll be immune to all goblin poisons for a certain time."
Swish...!
Elizabeth, seated in her research desk chair,
Handed Eugene a wooden box covered with a special coating.
It was about half the size of a microwave.
Based on Elizabeth's words, the box seemed to contain an antidote.
Specifically, a goblin poison antidote,
As goblins were the target of Eugene's first quest as a mercenary.
"I heard goblins use poison, but do they use such a variety?"
Eugene accepted the box from Elizabeth
And reacted with a puzzled expression.
The goblin poisons he knew of could be counted on one hand.
Thomas, who had periodically visited Eugene for 7 days,
Had provided information about goblins, the main enemy of the quest,
As well as information about the quest area.
Eugene had also done additional studying on his own
And through that had already identified the goblins' main poison, a neurotoxin,
As well as their preferred combat equipment.
However, in the end
He was no match for the abundant knowledge of Elizabeth, the genius magician.
"It varies greatly depending on whether there's a shaman or not, dear brother. So I thought it would be good to prepare something that would work in any situation, just in case."
Since Elizabeth was an outsider to the Red Fox Mercenary Group,
Eugene hadn't discussed specific details about the quest with her.
But upon hearing the opponent was goblins, Elizabeth
Had spent several days using her abilities to create a potion that neutralizes and immunizes against all goblin poisons.
"I did hear there likely won't be a shaman."
Shake! Shake!
Eugene shook the box lightly.
From what he could tell,
The box seemed to contain a considerable amount of potion.
"Huh?"
As Eugene focused intently on the potion in the box with great curiosity,
His eyes suddenly widened slightly, as if feeling a strong sense of déjà vu.
Swish!
And he quickly turned his head and gaze
Towards where he felt that sensation.
The place that triggered the déjà vu
Was none other than Elizabeth's work desk.
'What's that? It looked like something white was slightly sticking out from under Elizabeth's thick book?'
In the middle of Elizabeth's work desk
Was spread a large, thick spellbook.
When Eugene first entered his sister's room moments ago, his initial impression was just that an overwhelmingly large spellbook was placed there.
But as time passed and his field of view widened,
He thought he glimpsed a white object like paper or cloth peeking out from under the spellbook.
Of course, there was no reason for Eugene to react so aggressively just because he sensed a white object.
However, Eugene felt a sudden familiar sensation that stood out sharply,
Flying into the edges of his mind like a blade.
Such an ominous sense of déjà vu welled up that Eugene reflexively shifted his gaze.
But as if mocking that feeling,
When Eugene deliberately moved his gaze to under Elizabeth's spellbook,
There was no white object that he had been looking for, nor anything to trigger déjà vu.
"What's wrong, dear brother?"
Seeing Eugene's gaze fixed on the work desk,
Elizabeth reacted with a slightly tilted head and relaxed posture, hands behind her back.
"It's nothing, Elizabeth. I guess I'm more nervous than I thought before my first quest."
In the end, after confirming no white object existed, Eugene's thoughts concluded
It was an illusion created by his tense mental state.
"That's understandable, dear brother. But you've clearly grown into an amazing warrior, so believe in yourself. This Elizabeth de Sel Orléans' dear brother Eugene Schneider is that incredible of a person."
"Haha! Alright, I got it. Thanks for the encouragement, Elizabeth."
Elizabeth, still with her hands behind her back,
Greatly boosted the courage of her beloved and respected dear brother.
"Then take care, dear brother. Run away if it's dangerous. Foolish bravado is recklessness."
"Hahaha! Don't worry, Elizabeth. That's what I usually say to Jeanne."
Afterwards, Elizabeth saw her dear brother off as he left her room.
Eugene reassured his lovely sister with even heartier laughter
At her send-off message that seemed custom-made for his needs.
"....."
After exiting the room, Eugene crossed the hallway to go downstairs.
The sound of those footsteps echoing through the wide Grand Duke's hall,
Elizabeth listened to that sound silently,
And expressionlessly.
Meanwhile, her hands behind her back
Fidget... Fidget...
Kept fidgeting with something held in them.
It was clearly an object that looked like white cloth.
"Even though it's the first quest, isn't this too grand for just going to hunt goblins, Sister Charlotte?"
Eugene Schneider, who had become the center of attention of the Grand Duke's daughters, had quite an elaborate process even for going to hunt low-level monsters.
He couldn't go straight to the mercenary residential district after leaving the Grand Duke's mansion.
His eldest sister Charlotte de Sel Orléans had earnestly requested that he stop by the Holy See.
So Eugene visited the Holy See,
And raised an objection, feeling awkward at his Sister Charlotte's unusual appearance.
The place where the two were seated was the private inner garden for bishop nuns of the Holy See.
"Nonsense! Statistically, the first quest is when adventurers get injured and lose their lives most often. And against goblins, no less. How could I just send you off to such a place? I think my heart will only be at ease if I perform the 'For the Departing Warrior' ritual for you."
Charlotte was wearing
A rather grand-looking priest's ceremonial robe instead of her usual bishop nun's habit.
It was to perform the Holy See's traditional 'For the Departing Warrior' ritual for her dear little brother Eugene.
'For the Departing Warrior' is none other than a sacred ritual praying for the warrior's victory, safe return,
And beautiful reunion with family.
As Eugene said, it might be too much just for going to exterminate goblins,
Honestly, it could be seen as making a mountain out of a molehill.
But isn't Charlotte a loving older sister who cherishes her little brother so much?
From her perspective, such considerations of relative importance are not even worth considering.
'I said there's no need to go this far, but wow... Just seeing Sister Charlotte in priest's ceremonial robes is incredibly motivating.'
Eugene Schneider was already enjoying the effects of the 'For the Departing Warrior' ritual as if under its spell.
Charlotte in her priest's ceremonial robes,
Her supreme beauty and sensuality were not of this world.
It was as if the power of this ritual came not from the goddess Aphrodite
But from the ceremonial priest flaunting beauty that could make males lovesick, to the point of suspicion.
Though Charlotte usually wore clean white priest's robes,
This ceremonial robe was made of silk and had jewels embedded here and there.
Especially since the ceremonial robe's fit accentuated her figure so tightly,
Charlotte's voluptuous body stood out more than ever and seemed to sprout wings.
"Now... Please lay your greatsword vertically on the floor, then kneel on one knee before me, warrior..."
Until just before, Charlotte had been conversing as an older sister with her younger brother,
But as she was about to begin the formal ritual, her expression and tone changed to befit a high priest.
Thus Charlotte showed the dignified bearing of a bishop nun
And requested that rookie mercenary greatswordsman Eugene Schneider take the posture for the 'For the Departing Warrior' ritual.
'Hmm, come to think of it, I remember seeing this in a book. The warrior kneels like this and slightly bows his head, then the ritual host places their right hand on the warrior's head and gives a blessing and prayer.'
Shing...!
Thud!
At that moment, in Eugene's mind
The contents he had encountered while looking at an encyclopedia about the Light Goddess religion with Charlotte during his adolescence came to mind.
Following that memory, Eugene Schneider laid down his sword in a disciplined manner,
Knelt on one knee, then slightly bowed his head and waited for Charlotte's blessing hand to approach.
However, Eugene didn't know that in a priest's ritual
There exists a certain level of discretionary area.
Squish...! Soft...!♥
'Huh?'
Eventually, what enveloped Eugene's head was
Not Charlotte's demure hand
But something plump, soft and squishy.
"Ahh... my warrior..."
Grasp...!
Squish...!♥
And Charlotte's actual hands wrapped around Eugene's nape as if embracing him.
The situation was that what enveloped Eugene's head was none other than Charlotte's H-cup sized breasts.
As if that wasn't enough, Charlotte pulled Eugene's blessed head further inside herself,
Causing her little brother's head to be positioned deep within her voluptuous breasts.
'Sister, why has this posture happened while you're praying???'
Is this For the Departing Warrior?
Eugene froze in place, eyes full of excitement despite his bewilderment,
As he received Charlotte's breast blessing.
It's the first ritual she's performing for her beloved little brother, not just anyone,
So how could the loving priestess Charlotte do it only by the manual?
Charlotte wanted to imbue it with her love for Eugene, her concern,
And even her wishes as family.
Isn't a precious person naturally held to one's bosom?
'Wow...'
Anyway, Eugene Schneider was flustered at how different this was from what he had learned in books,
But his expression soon became full of grace.
Indeed, experience was on a different level from textbook knowledge.
The explosive softness of Charlotte's H-cup breasts felt through the smooth, fragrant silk fabric,
That softness and amazing breast texture felt as if divine power was flowing from that flesh to bless Eugene Schneider, the warrior about to go into battle.
Thus Eugene's expression became enraptured,
Like that of a lamb realizing further pointless questions were a luxury.
"Our Eugene can lean on and touch sister's body too... Project your sense of stability fully. That way a deeper ritual can be achieved."
As a high priest class with excellent empathy not just for animals but for others' hearts,
Charlotte immediately recognized her little brother's enraptured mental state.
So she induced an even more active response from Eugene.
Originally, blessings have a more explosive effect
When a deep bond is formed between the one giving the blessing and the human receiving it.
It's just that for practical reasons, there are some constraints on the actions to draw that out.
But aren't Charlotte and Eugene siblings who trust and love each other so much?
Also, as the loving older sister, Charlotte wishes for Eugene's safety and safe return above all else.
That's why she gathered her courage to perform a more spiritually potent ritual, requesting her little brother Eugene to act towards her with a pure heart to the point of being unrestrained.
"I understand, sister..."
Sliiiide...!
Normally he would have hesitated.
But now Eugene's head was dominated by Charlotte's huge milk tanks.
Thus enraptured, he immediately stretched both hands forward.
Squeeze...! Squish!♥
Then to match their heights,
He arched his back slightly and grasped Charlotte's huge buttocks that stood out even more.
