'So this is K University'
I worked really hard for three years.
From the time I was old enough to understand things, I could view my family's financial situation objectively, even coldly.
'If I hadn't worked my ass off, my life would have been completely worthless'
My father who's currently in prison.
My mother with zero survival skills.
There was nothing to gain from my parents.
It was a household where I'd be lucky just not to inherit debt.
My sister Kang Mi-hyun, with her huge breasts and extremely pretty face, would have been fine even being born into a poor family—with looks that could win four national exams at once, she'd naturally live well and eat well.
But as a man, I had to either study like crazy or work like crazy to make money since high school just to see a path forward.
If I had started living a hopeless life like Mi-hyun or my parents, I can't even imagine how low I would have sunk.
So with no money for academies, I literally studied to death on my own with just textbooks and EBS broadcasts.
I did well enough on my school grades and college entrance exam to feel somewhat proud of myself.
And the result of that is right in front of my eyes.
Hmm
Taking a deep breath, I feel the air of freedom.
It was definitely different from the dreary, stuffy high school days.
'This is the reward for three years...'
K University's Business School, Department of Big Data Applications. I was able to enter this newly established department, which was created last year and had the highest entrance requirements among humanities departments.
And today is the orientation and freshman welcome event for the Business School.
"Alright. Let's go, Hyun-seong"
High school days are over!
No sooner had I made that resolution...
"Ah, this bastard, fuck, so sick of seeing you, hahaha"
Within five minutes, I ran into a familiar face, and we both laughed like crazy.
"Idiot, I'm even more sick of your face. Why are you still alive?"
"Bullshit. Look at Mr. Food and Nutrition, haha"
"What's wrong with Food and Nutrition? It's full of girls, I'm going to sleep with all of them"
The insufferable nemesis who followed me from elementary, middle, high school, and now university.
My ball-friend Kim Gyu-tae had also been accepted here.
"I never thought you'd actually come here. How did you get in with your grades? Is this admissions fraud?"
"Fuck off. I worked hard on my school grades, why are you talking shit?"
Still, having a close friend in this unfamiliar place was somewhat reassuring.
"Where's your orientation?"
"Ours is probably in the Business School lecture hall. What about yours?"
"Ours is at the Life Sciences Building. It's nearby? Let's go together"
"Okay"
My first orientation experience.
Unfamiliar buildings, unfamiliar people, unfamiliar systems.
Everything was confusing and strange, but it was also exciting—a new beginning, feeling like I was becoming an adult.
And...
'Damn, I'm going to get a girlfriend no matter what'
Burning reproductive desire!
After Mi-hyun teased me for days, giving and withholding, my penis had unknowingly gone bad... somewhat materialistic and vulgar, but solely because of
'Sex'
Due to this vulgar instinct of wanting to mate, I became like a chimpanzee, a dog in heat, scanning the women around me as I walked by.
'Ooh... she's super pretty'
Of course, women with looks ranking as high as Mi-hyun or my mom were rare, but occasionally when I saw A-grade women, I'd fall into delusions, even naming our future grandchildren.
Of course, I only imagined this to myself and didn't do stupid things like showing it outwardly.
"Hey... Hyun-seong, look over there. She's fucking beautiful, isn't she?"
"Idiot... don't show it so obviously, it's embarrassing"
I felt relieved concluding that Gyu-tae was indeed more of an idiot than me.
"Ah. I think that's the place. Hey, get lost now. Don't need you anymore"
"Yeah, you get lost"
Exchanging casual insults, we parted ways, and I headed to the auditorium where the Business School freshmen were gathering.
"Wow. There are so many"
At a glance, there were hundreds of people who looked like freshmen, with a certain novice air about them.
Of course, most were from the Business Administration department, while our Big Data Whatever department had only 30 freshmen.
"Let's see..."
There was a large sign in one part of the auditorium.
-Big Data Applications Department Freshmen This Way!
My heart pounded.
Thinking that my new four years would begin there made me naturally tense and excited.
"Excuse me, is this the Big Data Applications department?"
"Ah! Yes. Please come here. Take this guidebook and..."
After getting various explanations from a kind senior in her late 20s who seemed to be a teaching assistant, I headed to our department's seating area.
But it must be my lucky day.
"Huh? Hyun-seong?"
"Huh? Hey... what? It's Habin"
I met a high school classmate for the second time today.
Yoon Habin, from my class (though we weren't that close).
When he saw me, he seemed somewhat uncomfortable but pretended to be glad on the surface.
"Hey, it's really good to see you. Same high school, same class, and now same college?"
"Are you in Big Data Whatever too?"
"No. I'm in Business Administration. But we'll probably have a lot of overlapping classes, right?"
Well, we're in the same Business School and similar fields.
So I also pretended to welcome him, but...
"Yeah. It's good to have at least one more person I know"
'Ah. This really sucks'
Inwardly, his very existence bothered me.
Because this scrawny, glasses-wearing bastard is my sister Mi-hyun's boyfriend.
'Fuck, he's dating my sister but didn't even tell me?'
Although we weren't very close, we were classmates. Dating a friend's sister without saying anything.
Since I had developed a strange relationship with Mi-hyun, he was, from the beginning, a bastard with no moral code.
After briefly greeting him, I finally sat down in my seat.
Just as I thought some peace was coming...
Tap tap.
Someone was tapping my shoulder.
'What now?'
I turned around.
"Hyun-seong? Are you Kang Hyun-seong?"
"Huh? Class 2 So-hye?"
"Yes! That's right! I'm Lim So-hye! I was in the same class as Mi-hyun"
A sunflower-like beauty with a radiant smile was greeting me as if she knew me.
From the class next to mine.
It was Lim So-hye, who had been in the same class as Mi-hyun.
Hmm...
For those who read carefully, this is the same So-hye I used as masturbation material in my imagination when I got aroused hearing Kwak Young-cheol having sex with my mom.
"Wow. Habin from our class also went into Business Administration next door? Are you in Business too?"
"No. I'm in Big Data Applications. You too?"
"Really? Wow, small world"
No way.
The third person from Mabong High after Gyu-tae and Habin...
But I was about 100 times happier to see her than the two male bastards.
Because...
She's fucking beautiful.
'Really... she's even prettier up close'
Just looking at her face, she was famous as one of the top two beauties in our school along with Mi-hyun.
White skin. An extremely small head and distinct features evenly and delicately arranged on that small face. Clear, transparent white eyes. Small, plump lips and slightly purple-tinged twin tails.
'Twin tails suit her so well. Damn, she's so cute'
However,
While Mi-hyun had a face with sensuality and flashy beauty, and a body that oozed violent sexiness to the point of making you say "fuck" involuntarily,
Lim So-hye was famous for her harmless, small animal-like cuteness.
If Mi-hyun was a proud and prickly cat type, and my mom was a sensual dog type,
So-hye was a hamster or squirrel-like cute type.
Unlike our Mi-hyun, who not only had a sensual face but also a fierce, or rather prickly personality,
So-hye had an angelic, shy personality, a typical feminine style that made even other girls want to pat her and put her in their pockets—she was the school idol.
"I'm really happy to see you! Hihi"
"Me too, me too. I've seen three people from our high school today alone"
"Besides Habin and me? Who else?"
"Oh. Do you know Gyu-tae?"
"Ah! Kyahaha! That shaved head guy?"
"Yes, yes! That guy... I mean, you know him?"
"Well, I don't know him well, but I've seen his face"
Moreover... So-hye's cuteness wasn't just about her face and personality.
"It hasn't started yet, want to go to a cafe and chat? I saw a cafe on campus earlier"
"Sh-should we?"
"Yeah. I'll pay"
"No, no! I'll pay. Let's go"
So-hye, excited to meet someone from the same school, got up to have coffee with me
'Hmm. She really is small'
About 150? 152?
Unlike my mom who's 172 cm and Mi-hyun who's over 168.5 cm, So-hye looked about 150 cm, and I thought she was adorably cute.
'Wow. She's incredibly cute, really'
But she didn't look plain just because she was short.
She naturally had a small head, and her arms and legs were proportionally long compared to her torso, so even with her small height, her proportions looked extremely good.
And... dressed in a pink sweater and white tennis skirt, a fresh freshman style that seemed like it would naturally smell of lemons
'...Hmm. She has decent breasts too?'
Though the sweater was baggy, her breasts were quite prominent... which looked good.
'Of course, compared to a pig like Mi-hyun, they're flat'
Anyway, walking with such a provincial S-grade cute and fresh beauty, the gazes of people around us focused on So-hye and me.
A situation where I felt proud, as if I were her boyfriend.
I couldn't help but grin, and whether she knew my inner thoughts or not, So-hye continued to chatter away with an innocent smile.
"Yeah. So my dad is a pastor? I'm worried about drinking at the freshman welcome party today. I've never had alcohol before. Oh, what should I do? I'll get scolded by my dad if I get drunk!"
"You've never had alcohol?"
"Huh? How could I drink when I was a minor?"
"Ah. That's true"
Perhaps happy to meet someone from the same school in an unfamiliar environment, she was quite open with personal stories. It felt like we were starting with the walls already lowered several levels.
'This feels good. I'm lucky'
