"Ugh, my back."
I grabbed my aching back as I got out of the car and walked the now-familiar route to work.
Even though I hadn't slept a wink last night and had sex all night, a man like Baek Jihan isn't so weak that he can't handle a schedule like that.
"All because I decided to play butler."
I'd spent about three hours going back and forth between Yuna noona and Francesca, licking their pussies in bed, and the reason my back hurt now was from bending over so much.
I never imagined they'd mess with the clock, either. The sun was clearly rising, but it was six in the evening.
Still, I was in a good mood. Not only was last night's sex amazing, but Francesca had told me she'd completed the task I'd asked for perfectly.
"Today~♪ I wonder what kind of face Park Sora will make~↗↘♬"
Humming, I knocked on the CEO's office door.
Knock knock!
"CEO, it's Baek Jihan. May I come in?"
I tried to hide my excitement, but there was no answer.
I was about to knock again when slam! The door opened.
"Ah, Jihan."
It was not Park Sora who opened the door, but another employee. I recognized her from passing by a few times.
"You must be here to see the CEO."
"Yes, is she in?"
"Well, actually, the CEO took a day off for family reasons today."
The female employee twisted her body awkwardly.
"Oh, I see. Must be something important then."
"Yes, she's never done this before, so I'm a bit worried."
"I'll try giving her a call."
"Yes. If you call, I'm sure it'll cheer her up."
Turning away from the blushing employee, I headed to my office. I closed the door and immediately took out my phone to call.
After several rings, just as I was about to hang up, the call connected.
Hello.
Her voice was extremely tired. It was cracked, as if she hadn't had a sip of water, but ironically, there was a hint of moisture in it.
"Ah, CEO. It's Baek Jihan."
…Yes. What is it?
"I heard from a staff member that you weren't coming in today because of family matters. I was worried, so I called."
Thank you. I think I can come to work tomorrow... or the day after. Don't worry. Then...
Click! The call ended there.
"Hmm..."
Things were progressing as expected... but maybe the effect was too strong?
Well, if you saw your husband rolling around with another woman in your own bedroom, you'd lose your mind too.
"Especially with your daughter sleeping right next to you."
I was the one who set this in motion, but I didn't feel guilty.
A family that was bound to fall apart someday. It's better to break it quickly and rebuild quickly.
I felt bad about the pain Park Sora would go through in the process, but that's something I'd have to heal as best I could.
Of course, that's only if Park Sora comes to me willingly, but it won't take that long.
A couple of days passed. When I saw Park Sora again, she looked completely lifeless.
"Did you see the CEO today? She wasn't wearing any makeup, and her dark circles were down to her chin."
"Yeah, but she's still so pretty... I heard her husband cheated..."
"Really? How do you know?"
"I heard her talking on the phone this morning... her voice was echoing out of the CEO's office!"
"Hey, shh... shh... Ahem. Hello, Jihan! You're looking great today."
"Jihan, do you have time for lunch...?"
I ran into some staff waiting for the elevator. They were gossiping among themselves, but when they saw me, they smiled stupidly and tried to approach me.
I nodded slightly, both greeting and declining at the same time, then headed to my office.
Ha... Let's say we get divorced. What about Hanna? What will happen to her?
I heard a faint phone conversation from outside the door.
So this is what the staff member was talking about earlier.
"Does everyone have business with the CEO?"
No one was openly eavesdropping, but staff were lingering just close enough to hear. I gave them a look and they dispersed.
In the now-empty hallway, I listened in on the call.
Do you know how bad single-parent families are... What? How many times have I told you! How can you leave the child with that woman? Are you insane?
You think she's better than me? How can you say that? How can a woman who flirts with married men...
Forget it, let's talk after work. I have to work... How can I focus in this situation? You're the one who caused this...! Ha, whatever. Maybe if you'd worked before, you'd understand. I'm hanging up!
I carefully approached the door.
Maybe I should just file for divorce.
After that, I heard faint sobbing.
I was the one who caused this, but I still felt uncomfortable.
I knocked on the door.
"CEO, may I come in?"
...Sniff... No. Later, please.
"Well, if you need to make calls, you might want to keep your voice down. There are a lot of people outside."
...Did you hear me too, Jihan?
"Yes, well. Unintentionally."
I offered the advice gently, and Park Sora asked. I answered just as gently.
Ha, come in.
I immediately turned the doorknob. Park Sora's face looked haggard.
Just as I heard earlier, she had no makeup on, and her dark circles covered half her face.
Her eyes were moist.
Park Sora forced her dazed eyes open and said,
"You must have forgotten what I told you last time."
"...? What do you mean?"
I tilted my head, and Park Sora said,
"I told you, even if my husband really cheated, I wouldn't be interested in you. Back then... I didn't know he was really cheating, but anyway... Why? Are you here because you think now you have a chance?"
Her attitude was sharp. Like a small, cute hedgehog, she was acting tough to hide her weakened heart. To be honest, she was right.
My husband cheated first, so now it's self-defense. This is... just revenge.
I thought she'd allow me in that way. But maybe I was too naive.
She was harder to win over than I thought.
It's not like I didn't have options. I could have pushed harder taken away her daughter's custody, spread rumors about her, made life hard for her at the agency, forced her to step down as CEO, and so on.
There were plenty of ways to break her down and make her rely on me.
But...
'...This kind of thing just doesn't suit me.'
Would Park Sora still be the Park Sora I wanted after going through that?
Strictly speaking, her husband was the root cause, but my responsibility wasn't zero either.
I decided I should take responsibility, even if belatedly.
"...Honestly, I can't say I never thought about it. You're an incredibly attractive person, CEO."
"Enough. You're just like my husband, aren't you? Falling for another woman and heartlessly abandoning your own you're both the same!"
Her voice rose again. She even started coughing, so I brought her some water, but she wouldn't even look at it.
"I would never abandon my woman."
"Hmph! Easy for you to say!"
She sneered.
I sighed softly and took out my phone to send a KakaoTalk message.
Park Sora narrowed her eyes, watching me, and after about 30 seconds
Kakao! Kakao! Kakao! Countless notification sounds rang out.
I checked my phone and showed it to Park Sora.
"Why are you showing me your phone... huh?"
"See?"
What I showed her was the family group chat. There were countless lewd photos under the message "Send me some sexy pics."
Right in front of Park Sora, I sent, "Thanks, I'll use these when I jerk off."
Replies came instantly. I read them out loud for her to hear.
"Hey, stop messing around and come home and fuck me. What do you mean, jerk off to your daughter?"
"Young master, I’ll head out right now."
"‘Mama's pussy is always open for you.’"
"I’ll warm up my pussy and wait for you to get off work. Jerk off with my pussy!"
"Jihan, tell me when you’re jerking off. Let’s video chat."
I put my phone away with a smile. Park Sora's eyes shook like an earthquake.
After a moment, she spoke.
"All those women... Wait, did you say 'Mama'? The building owner?"
"Well, all walls fall before love. Strictly speaking, she's not even my real mother."
Maybe this is the face her husband made when he was caught red-handed. Her jaw dropped and wouldn't close.
"So what you said earlier was wrong. I love and cherish all my women. Body and soul."
Park Sora trembled under my gaze. Then she raised her hand to her chest and said,
"I'll admit that part... But that doesn't mean I'll come to you."
I shrugged.
"Well, we can talk about that later. For now, you need to deal with what's right in front of you."
"...How?"
Park Sora lamented her situation. Maybe because I revealed my secret first, she started telling me everything.
"Those people who've never earned a penny want to raise my daughter? Do you think that's possible?"
"Not at all."
"Right? Do you know what they said when I confronted them? 'Just give us money!' Can you believe it? They think I'm an ATM."
She kept venting for a while. After listening, I summarized.
"So, you just need to get custody of your daughter, right?"
"Yes. As long as I have Hanna, that's all I need."
"What about filing for divorce?"
"I'm afraid if we split badly, Hanna will be hurt..."
I called Francesca.
"Hey, it's me. I'm going to put CEO Park Sora on the line, help her as much as you can... What? Again? Ugh, fine. I'll wear the butler outfit and serve you. Hold on... CEO, here you go."
"You really say those things in front of me..."
I shrugged.
"Well, you already know everything anyway."
Blushing, Park Sora snatched the phone.
"Yes, this is Park Sora. Yes, secretary. Long time no see. Yes. Yes, that's right. The situation is..."
A conversation began, full of parental concern.
Francesca's cool-headedness and intelligence were definitely helpful in this situation.
Park Sora answered diligently, determined to get custody.
"Yes, property division? My share... yes, about that much... Oh, really? That would be great! Yes! I won't give those people a single penny. Oh... the lawsuit... then Hanna... You can look after her for a while? Well... if there's no choice, I'll do as you say. Okay, I'll hand you back."
Park Sora silently waved the phone at me. After revealing our secrets, it felt like the psychological distance between us had shrunk.
I took the phone with a slight smile.
"Hey, did it go well?"
Yes, I’ll explain the details at home. But for now, until the lawsuit is over, we'll look after Hanna.
"Really?"
Because it was on speakerphone, Francesca's voice was audible to Park Sora.
She spoke as if to be heard.
"What if Hanna likes our house so much she doesn't want to leave?"
That's very possible. There are lots of pretty older sisters, delicious food, and fun things to do.
Francesca answered slyly, as if she knew. But she went even further.
It's good for you too, young master. CEO Park Sora's top priority is Hanna, and if Hanna says, 'I love Jihan oppa! I wish he was my dad!' then it's game over.
Park Sora, who had been feeling relieved, suddenly looked sour.
"You're banned from butler uniforms."
Y-young master? What do you mean !
Click! I hung up.
"...Let's go pick up Hanna together after work. And don't worry too much about the rumors here."
Without a word, Park Sora pointed to the door.
