"Sorry to have kept you waiting!"
Three men appeared.
It was easy to guess that the man in the middle was the boss he looked extravagant and imposing.
The other two were obviously bodyguards.
"We haven’t been waiting long."
"I’m glad to hear that. I’m quite busy, so can we get straight to business?"
"Of course. As long as the deal goes well."
The boss immediately sat on the sofa across from us.
He seemed eager to finish the transaction quickly.
"Introduce her. The background of the bitch next to you."
"She’s a fallen noble from the west."
It was a made-up lie he just named the region opposite Kabache’s territory.
The boss looked dissatisfied with the vague explanation.
"If you want to sell her, I need to know which noble family, what kind of life she’s lived. Tell me more."
"Of course you want to verify, but do you really need such deep details? Why is that?"
"Knowing the details changes the value."
"Oh... I’d like to hear more. If the price goes up, I’ll be more willing to cooperate."
Suddenly, I felt a sharp gaze surprisingly piercing for such a heavyset man.
"We’ll judge the value ourselves. There’s no need for you to ask why."
He didn’t hide his displeasure.
It was an open threat.
The bodyguard beside him flexed his muscles.
"So you’re saying you want to buy her cheap."
"Heh... maybe so."
He wasn’t even trying to hide it
it was a blatant declaration of intent to take her by force.
"Almost sounds like you don’t intend to let us walk out of here alive."
"Depending on how much you tell me, maybe that’ll change."
It was an obvious lie.
But desperate people have to cling to even slim chances.
If you’re going to die anyway, you gamble on any possibility.
'Good thing I prepared for a fight.'
I glanced at Bella.
I’d already taken off her blindfold and collar.
My sword was hidden behind my back.
"So... the rumors were true, after all."
"Hm? What rumors?"
"That corrupt nobles are selling out fallen nobles and their secrets."
He looked surprised like he hadn’t expected me to know that much.
But only for a moment; he soon let out a sly laugh.
"Kahah! You came here even knowing that? You’re a real fool."
"Judging by your reaction, I guess it’s true. I haven’t seen your face before, but you must be Kabache."
"That’s right. Not that it matters now that you know."
He looked supremely confident
he clearly trusted his bodyguards and didn’t believe he could lose.
"I do have a sword, so I can at least put up a fight."
"Try it if you want. My friends will stop you before you get anywhere."
"...If this slave is valuable, you’ll let us live, right?"
"Of course. Your life is worth sparing if she’s valuable enough."
Kabache glanced at Bella.
But his eyes were dismissive he saw only a slave.
"She’s from the Barbatos family, a noble house that fell some time ago."
"Hmm... never heard of it..."
He eyed me with suspicion, but I kept up the act.
"It’s been a long time, and it wasn’t a famous family. You’d be better off investigating yourself than taking my word for it."
"There must be a story, at least."
"She tried to restore her ruined house, but got sold off by a bad slave trader. Isn’t that a common tale?"
Kabache looked Bella over as if investigating.
He didn’t seem to believe me, but figured it couldn’t hurt to check.
"She looks anxious with lust, but is acting docile... so the drug’s been administered, I see. We’ll handle the investigation. She’ll fetch a good price in a neighboring country."
There was no need to hide anything anymore
he’d basically confessed to being the culprit.
"Then... I’ll leave her to you."
Feeling a chill, I drew my sword
aiming for Kabache.
But my blade was blocked mid-swing.
Clang !
"As expected... it didn’t work."
"When cornered, you chose to lash out. Too bad I could have let you go peacefully."
It was only natural.
The bodyguards had never let their guard down.
They must have expected me to try something.
"But... you didn’t expect this."
"Hmm?"
Three swords tangled together
and then a fourth blade flashed into the gap.
"Graah...!"
A sharp sword pierced one of the guards.
The attacker was Bella.
Kabache and the other guard’s faces twisted in shock.
"W-what the...!"
The boss was stunned, but the remaining guard reacted quickly, swinging his sword at Bella.
"Don’t forget about my sword, either."
I knocked the blade aside with force
not skillful, but enough to interfere.
"...You!"
The opening was brief, but enough.
I couldn’t land a blow, but Bella could.
Whoosh
Bella’s sword slashed through flesh, drawing a red arc.
"Gragh...!!"
In an instant, both guards were down.
They were skilled, but not enough to match the Royal Guard Captain.
"Your trusted guards are gone now."
"W-what is this woman?! She’s supposed to be drugged!"
"There are ways around that."
I struck Kabache’s face with my sword hilt.
A dull impact ran up my arm.
"You’d better worry about what’ll happen to you when you’re captured."
"Ugh..."
Kabache collapsed, his head hitting the table with a thud, his body twitching as he passed out.
Taking the risk had paid off.
"He never guessed the ‘slave’ beside me was the Captain of the Guard."
"Ugh..."
Bella didn’t look satisfied.
She was still anxious her anxiety was, as Kabache guessed, due to her sexual frustration.
She couldn’t worry about being found out
even to me, she looked like the perfect slave.
"Now, I’ll give you the reward you were hoping for."
Finally, Bella’s face brightened.
She tried to suppress it, but couldn’t hide her desire.
"Haa... huu... I-it was for the mission... I-I couldn’t help it..."
Before Kabache entered the reception room,
Bella and Eldric had talked.
"I’ll take off your blindfold and collar when the time is right, take them out."
"Ugh... b-but... I can’t fight properly right now..."
She couldn’t fight like this.
It was lucky she wasn’t attacking Eldric instead.
Her mind was clouded with desire; her hot body was focused only on lust.
"That’s exactly why I have a way."
"Huh... what?"
"One of my abilities is making contracts based on sexual desire. If I use it... you’ll be able to fight."
A contract has force
it can compel or forbid specific actions.
Depending on how it’s used, it could bring out her true strength.
Bella, anxious, understood the explanation
except for the suspicious conditions.
"A contract based on sexual desire...?"
"The more vulgar and lewd the contract, the better it works."
"Ugh..."
Bella felt two emotions:
anxiety and anticipation.
She didn’t want to admit it, but her heart pounded strangely.
"What kind of contract... are you thinking of?"
"For you to fight at your full strength... a very lewd contract will be needed."
"Huu... hut... a lewd contract..."
Eldric smiled, as if he’d had a great idea.
"Show your true strength and help with the mission. In exchange... after the mission, your memories will be erased for a while, and you’ll become my slave."
"That’s...!"
It was a dangerous contract.
She had no idea what might happen while her memory was gone.
Even so, her body’s heat made her breath heavy.
"It’s all for the mission. After some time, you’ll remember everything that happened."
That was even worse
she’d remember everything she’d done and what had been done to her.
But with a trembling voice, Bella agreed.
"F-fine... but remember! This is only for the mission!"
"Of course. You’ll have to stay here until the drug wears off, anyway. I’ll take good care of you in the meantime. Heh..."
Eldric’s blatant laughter
set Bella’s lower belly aflame.
