“What’s going on?”
Inside the tent, the beastkin had gathered.
They had come at the summons of their leader, Aliya.
But none of them had been given a detailed explanation.
“I don’t know. The boss must have something in mind.”
“Yeah, the boss is capable.”
“Everyone who’s supposed to be here is here, so when are they coming?”
As they chatted without much tension, a sound came from the tent entrance.
Rustle-
“Ah… Boss!”
A beastkin man who happened to be looking at the entrance called out to Aliya.
That became the signal for everyone’s attention to focus.
At the entrance stood their familiar boss and an unfamiliar man.
“That guy…”
“Never seen him before… He’s not a beastkin, is he?”
The commotion spread instantly, even more than during their earlier conversation.
No one could understand why a strange man was at Aliya’s side.
“Boss… who’s that guy…”
The question came from one of the more established members.
The tent fell silent at his question.
“This is the Hero.”
It was a short and simple explanation.
But that didn’t lessen the shock.
Everyone’s faces were filled with astonishment.
“W-what…?”
“The Hero…? I mean, the guys I ran into earlier were talking about the Hero, but…”
“I thought I’d gotten away clean…”
As the mood grew noisy again, Aliya shouted.
“Quiet!”
Her charisma quickly calmed the atmosphere.
But the questions remained unanswered.
Everyone waited for her response.
“I met the Hero during the last raid… and after talking, he agreed to help us.”
“The Hero… is going to help us…?”
“That’s right. He negotiated with the lord and promised us land and support.”
“That’s amazing, Boss!”
This wasn’t just simple cooperation.
There was no need for them to remain mere bandits anymore.
“So the Hero really is a good person…!”
“If we’d known he didn’t discriminate against beastkin, we should have reached out sooner.”
“Thank you, Hero!”
The tent was filled with cheers.
This time, Aliya waited quietly for things to settle down.
A faint joy appeared on her face as she watched her companions rejoice.
“I’m glad you’re happy.”
The moment Teus spoke for the first time,
everyone naturally turned their eager gazes to him.
“Ooh! Hero!”
“I promise to do my utmost, in the name of the Hero, to improve the standing of the beastkin. But for that, there’s one problem.”
“A problem… what is it?”
“Some of you may already know.”
Teus glanced around at those gathered in the tent.
“There are a lot of rumors about my bad relationship with the king, right?”
“Ah… yeah… the boss too…”
“Unfortunately, those rumors are true. In fact, I was almost killed by him. If the king manages to kill me…”
“Then… the Hero’s promise would be meaningless…”
Anxiety quickly spread.
The opportunity they’d just gained might disappear.
“That’s why I’d like to ask for your cooperation.”
“Cooperation…?”
“Your leader, Aliya, has already agreed. We’re going to overthrow the king together.”
“But just us…”
“You don’t need to worry. What I’ll ask of you is a diversion operation. I’ll handle the main plan myself.”
The Hero was now on their side.
They had the strongest possible ally.
Plotting rebellion was no longer impossible.
“Alright…! The boss agreed, and it’s better than wandering around like this…”
“I think so too!”
“Leave it to us, Hero!”
The discussion wrapped up quickly.
Aliya, their leader, had already accepted.
There was no reason to refuse.
“Then, I’ll talk with Aliya separately, so everyone else, please rest.”
“Unload the food and drink we brought-enjoy yourselves for today.”
Aliya and Teus left the tent together.
Watching their backs, one of the beastkin voiced a question.
“But… how did she get him to cooperate?”
It wasn’t just a simple support relationship.
That made it somewhat understandable,
but even considering that, the terms were extraordinary.
“I’m sure the boss handled it.”
“Yeah, if it’s the boss, it’s totally possible.”
Their curiosity soon faded.
None of them imagined there had been any negotiations they didn’t know about.
“I’m glad it ended better than expected.”
The beastkin were in high spirits.
There seemed to be no problem with the alliance.
“It’s thanks to the way you spoke, Hero.”
“Is that so? I think it’s more because of the trust they have in you, Aliya.”
“It’s more thanks to your name, Hero.”
She was as stiff as ever.
Even though she had reason to be happy, she didn’t show it much.
Though, she did seem happy watching her companions earlier.
‘I bet none of them imagine their boss is about to get taken by me.’
Beautiful green hair.
Yellow eyes radiating charisma.
A bold beauty who would never bow to a man.
“Now, I have to keep another promise.”
“From now on, I’ll serve you as my mate, Hero.”
“Good. So you’re prepared for what comes at night?”
“As your mate, it’s only natural. Then…”
Her face was still calm,
but her next words were a bit surprising.
“According to beastkin tradition, from now on I will serve you as my master.”
“Hm…? Master?”
“When beastkin marry, one must serve the other as master. I can’t ask you to do that, so…”
So that’s their tradition.
I hadn’t heard of it before-felt like a surprise gift.
“Huh… is that so?”
“Yes. There are many reasons, but you can think of it as a way beastkin keep their marriages happy.”
“Certainly… that doesn’t sound like a bad marriage.”
The beastkin leader would serve me as her master.
Especially since she was a stunning beauty, that was nice.
Her stoic attitude was actually a plus in this situation.
“Then, is it alright to proceed with the ceremony?”
“Ceremony? Is there something I need to do?”
“Well…”
A hint of hesitation appeared on Aliya’s face.
Was there some special ritual?
“The one submitting… gives a sexual offering to the master. That’s our tradition.”
“Ah…”
That was a tradition I quite liked.
It seemed like a ritual to affirm the master-servant relationship.
By voluntarily performing a humiliating act, the relationship was sealed.
“Interesting tradition.”
“You might think badly of it, but… please understand.”
“No, I actually like it.”
“Yes. And… just to be clear, it’s not a forced marriage. Divorce is also possible at will.”
So it was all voluntary.
No way the relationship could go bad.
If one side is willing to serve as master, that’s a strong bond.
“Then let me ask: did you decide this of your own will, Aliya?”
“Yes.”
It was a firm answer.
For a marriage of mutual benefit, there was no hesitation.
“Why?”
“Beastkin tend to favor strong males and females. In that sense, Hero… you can’t be compared to any other male.”
“A simple reason.”
But it wasn’t pure affection.
More like, she saw me as worthy of being served as master.
I got a little curious and asked:
“Is preferring a strong partner an instinct for beastkin?”
“It’s similar to how humans prefer beautiful partners.”
“Hm… so it’s instinct.”
A plan popped into my head.
No matter how stoic Aliya is, she has instincts.
She’s reserved, but maybe she has hidden sides.
‘If I can imprint the idea of a strong male deep in her body, she’ll like it.’
The goal was to stimulate the beastkin’s instincts.
I might have to act a bit forcefully.
“Alright, I get it.”
“Then… shall we do it here?”
“There’s no bed, but that shouldn’t matter. You did say you’d serve me, right?”
“Yes. Is there anything you want…?”
She didn’t seem very knowledgeable at a glance.
Judging by her attitude, she was surely a virgin.
Rather than clumsy, stiff foreplay, it would be better to give her instructions.
Giving orders would help cement the master-servant dynamic.
“I just thought of something.”
The horns on Aliya’s head.
Her moist-looking lips.
Both drew my gaze perfectly.
