“Oh, really?”
Eugene wore a curious expression, as if he’d just heard something surprising.
“Yeah, elves apparently have a strong aversion to seeing other people have sex.”
He was listening to Jeanne give him a special lesson about elves.
After the Alexandria quest, the two of them had started thinking it might be a good idea to tell their companions about Eugene’s Sword Expert status. Though they only went through with it after returning from the Imperial Knights’ arena, this line of thinking made Eugene feel he’d be teaming up with Priscilla more often. So he decided he should get closer to her, and while asking various things, he ended up hearing some very intimate details.
“It’s because they live so long and tend to love someone for a very long time. It’s a kind of defense mechanism. So if they see someone having sex who isn’t their chosen partner, or someone they consider their mate, they can even become hysterical.”
Elves are notoriously particular beings. You never know what might offend them or set them off. That’s why Jeanne explained even the most explicit details, including things you might wonder if you even need to know.
“So it’s important not to let Priscilla catch us having sex. She’d probably be really disgusted. That’s a shame-I’m pretty confident in our sex, you know. It’s damn sexy.”
“Please, Eugene, cut the crazy talk...”
Eugene lamented, full of pride and confidence about his sex life with Jeanne at the time.
‘Hmm... So does this mean Priscilla doesn’t know about me and Jeanne? She must not have seen us, right? That’s probably why she just acts a bit prickly toward me. Honestly, I haven’t been totally oblivious-she’s an elf, after all, sharp eyes and ears.’
In any case, the information Jeanne gave was quite useful to Eugene. He’d enjoyed risky sex with Jeanne, doing things that would be shocking if their companions found out. If Priscilla had seen them, based on what Jeanne said, Eugene’s likability would have plummeted.
But even though Priscilla still acted like a cheeky kid, she’d only gotten closer to Eugene, not more distant.
‘But she knew?’
Eugene’s assumption was wrong. Priscilla had seen him and Jeanne’s animalistic sex.
“W-what nonsense! Sex?!”
Eugene had seriously declared he’d found a way to solve their crisis, which made Priscilla focus and wonder what he meant. But when he suggested they have sex, Priscilla was so shocked her eyes went wide and she reacted defensively.
“You told me, Priscilla. That elves have several ways to replenish spirit energy. And one of them is sex with their mate.”
But Eugene wasn’t fazed by the elf princess’s sharp attitude. He was full of confidence and logically laid out what he knew.
“I did say that. But I meant it literally-sex with a mate! Do you not understand what a mate means to an elf? And you’re using that as your reason?”
Priscilla didn’t back down. If Eugene was a man who never backed off, she was a proud elf princess. For her, the concept of a mate was practically sacred, and here she was, being pushed about it while looking half-dead from debuff poison.
“It’s simple. I’m a man worthy of being your mate, Priscilla.”
Eugene brushed off Priscilla’s pushback as if it were nothing and pressed his case even further.
“So arrogant! Saying that to an elf princess! You must have sky-high confidence just because you’re from a grand duke’s family!”
It was bold, but it was clearly a confession of love. He was saying, “I’m your man.” Caught off guard by the unexpected timing, Priscilla was still angry but also flustered, her words stumbling.
“.....”
Eugene just looked down at her silently, eyes full of intent.
“Then let me ask you, Priscilla.”
He spoke in a low voice, using informal speech.
“You’re a noble elf who witnessed my animalistic sex-so why don’t you feel disgust toward me?”
Eugene revealed the real reason he was so confident and direct.
“W-what???”
He’d hit the mark so perfectly that Priscilla was completely taken aback. She’d never expected to be attacked from that angle.
‘C-come to think of it...!’
That’s right. Even Priscilla herself had forgotten.
The first time she saw Eugene and Jeanne having sex, she was shocked. That dazed look at the party was from that. The shock was so great that she couldn’t even tell if it was disgust or something else.
If she’d had enough time, maybe she could have sorted out her feelings. But Eugene and Jeanne’s sex, as Priscilla herself said, was wild and constant. Without even realizing it, Priscilla was swept up in their animalistic passion.
‘I just vaguely thought I liked Eugene...!’
As those feelings grew, Priscilla realized she liked Eugene. It was her first love. Swept up in those fresh first-love emotions, the usually logical and rational Priscilla became a fool. She became desperate to show her feelings, and in the process, blurted out things without thinking-like just now, confessing she’d watched Eugene and Jeanne’s sex, a truth she’d never have admitted if not for the desperation of facing death.
‘I really didn’t feel any disgust toward Eugene, even as he was mating like that...’
He was someone she could watch having sex and feel no disgust.
‘Am I really thinking of Eugene as my mate...?’
As a pure-hearted elf, Priscilla had already come to see Eugene Schneider as her mate.
‘Wow... This silly elf princess... only now realizing it.’
Eugene, who’d already taken the virginity of three women, couldn’t help but find Priscilla’s realization endearing.
He’d recently wondered about Priscilla’s silly behavior. He’d thought maybe it was just an elf’s playful side, showing more friendliness as a comrade. But to think it was because she’d watched his wild sex and felt a sense of partnership, and only now was realizing her own true feelings-it made Priscilla’s cluelessness even more charming.
“You’re... my mate...?”
Now Priscilla’s endless, surprising charm was on display.
She’d always looked down on Eugene with such pride, as if to say, “You’re not even on my level.” But now, she was looking up at him with moist, earnest eyes, as if to ask, “Are you really my mate?”
‘Oh...!’
At that moment, Eugene was overcome with emotion.
‘So this is what being a mate means to an elf?’
The look in Priscilla’s eyes, and her careful, gentle tone, made Eugene feel the true depth of an elf’s devotion.
Elves can live for up to a thousand years, and in that time, they love only one person. To do that requires absolute love and unwavering devotion.
He’d only read about it in books or heard about it in stories, but now it was happening right here, with him. Eugene Schneider couldn’t help but be swept up in the feeling.
“I don’t fully understand what being a mate means to an elf, Priscilla.”
But Eugene was no ordinary man. He’d seduced sisters, cared for Vivian through a complicated past, and always treated women’s hearts with care.
So Eugene showed Priscilla the depth of an alpha male’s charm.
“All I know is that when I’m with a woman I’m destined for, I want to love her, cherish her, and protect her with all my heart and soul.”
Eugene looked up at Priscilla with pure devotion and shared his view on sex-or rather, on love.
He was sleeping with three women at once, but there was not a hint of falsehood in his words. Why? Because Eugene was a man capable of truly loving many women.
He had the stamina, the humanity, and the potential.
“So please, give me the chance to save you, Priscilla. I want to spend my future with my elf princess.”
Chak...!
Eugene proposed. He knelt on one knee-she was, after all, a true elf princess. With sweet, gentlemanly sincerity, he asked for permission to restore her spirit energy through sex.
‘Ahh... my mate...! My mate...! I thought I’d never meet such a being in my life, but here he is! Eugene is my mate!’
Priscilla, nearly 200 years old, was still young for a royal elf, but she knew the weight of time. She’d wandered endlessly, never finding a worthy mate, but now, on the edge of death, she’d received a dramatic proposal from her destined partner.
“Hnnngh...! Mate with me, Eugene... I’m yours now... I, Princess Priscilla of Symphonia, am your mate and your woman... Mate with me... Fill my womb with your seed, Eugene...”
Priscilla, overcome with joy and emotion, accepted the proposal in a way only a love-devoted elf could.
“Yes, Priscilla...”
Sss...
Eugene approached the pure-faced, blushing Priscilla with a sweet feeling.
“I’ll love you like an animal... and mate with you... smooch...!♥”
With words that matched her passion, he stole Priscilla’s first kiss.
