Public release and upcoming update
🕑 Added 2022-05-28 21:03:15 +0000 UTCHi!
So one week has passed since the initial release of the Captured game and so today I will release it to the public for everyone to try out. It will be available on my Itch.io page and I will put a link to it in my patreon main page description.
What I have done during this week:
I have improved few scripts to make it easier for me to start working on story mode in the future and some other things behind the scenes that will hopefully come in handy in the long run.
Improved few visual aspects, such as, fire particles are now not as cartoonish, lighting from fire is now bit more accurate and the walls are not so shiny.
Head control - this will allow you to make the character look toward camera during animations and in story mode while sneaking it will show where are they looking.
I also finished the IK feature for the characters so their legs will be better aligned to the floor.
Next goals on the agenda:
I definitely want to increase the amount of animations for the current characters so this will be my next main focus.
New creature - I have an idea for a new creature but depending on how long it will take me to finish it may or may not appear in next update.
And I will see what else will come along when I find some time and tell you about it in the next post.
On the side note I opened the Fairy Revenge project to have a look at the old goblin that I made.
And I have realized that even then I had trouble coming up with an outfit for him :P
Furthermore, I plan on releasing the Crimson Cape game today or tomorrow at the latest. And because it will be a paid game you can expect a message from me on your patreon with a key for it. It is a small game but I hope you will enjoy it.
Thank you for reading :)
