If I had to guess, Trigon is making Dick have visions of a life where he's out of the hero game and settled down with Dawn. Jason gets hurt, comes to his "big brother" for help with Bruce who's gone over the edge. Batman vs Robin, it goes all Matrix and Robin "dies" in the fantasy, "dies" in real life, breaking Raven's heart and finally letting Trigon in.

I seriously think that episode is going to take place in Dick’s mind. I mean last episode was him walking into Raven’s house and then the next episodes he’s living with Dawn? Plus ‘Trigon’ was in the trailer with him talking to Dick about embracing his darkness. I feel like it’s gonna be one those mind tricks is gonna play with everyone, having them live out their worst nightmares kind of deal. This is just what I gather from the preview. I also feel like when he’s fighting him and he unmasks him for whatever reason it’s gonna be Dick under the mask. Because that’s really what Dick’s afraid of right?
