Marianas Training Map
Because our Caucasus area "Tuesday Night Noob" training map is pretty much always full, we've added a more tropical experience on the Marianas map! This is a slightly harder version of the normal TNN map.
- People spawn at the same airfield in planes, so you'll have to practice your traffic calls.
- The easy range is spread well out in a golf course.
- The medium range will aggressively put flak in the air.
- The hard range is full of SA-8s, Tunguskas and other fun.
- The extreme ranger is an SA-5 on the edge of a volcano.
- We'll also be running periodic "CASE3" or "Night" events at weekends on this map to practice your IFR and bad weather carrier ops.
Persian Gulf At War V1.5
We've expanded PGAW greatly adding 6 new objective airfields and removing one.
- -Al Ain - Removed as an Objective and made into a friendly base (no spawns).
- "Abu Musa Island" is now an Objective to capture - Phase 2
- "Tunb Island AFB" is now an Objective to capture - Phase 3
- "Qeshm Island" Airfield is now an Objective to capture- Phase 3
- "Kish Intl" is now an Objective to capture- Phase 4
- "Havadarya" is now an Objective to capture- Phase 4
- "Lar" is now an Objective to capture, and with a distance of 200miles ish from Abu Dhabi and 100 from Khasab, you'll have to AAR or land on route - Phase 4
- NB: New airfields should be on the C130 capture list
- Naval threats have been toned down a fair bit, Moskva is gone, only Peter Velikiy remains and he is much easier to get to now.
- An amount of the CAP will now spawn on Bandar Abbas, Lar and Kish airfields making runway strikes more important, note that this will disable the runway for an hour, this we understand, is a hard coded DCS thing. As we monitor for traffic jams we may increase the amount that spawns actually on airfields.
