Now it's finally time to share my first big mod. I have worked on this mod on and off in half a year I think. Once I did redo it completely to become a better version of itself. It has been a journey and I have learned so much on the way. I am still very nervous about letting it run out to the world free, maybe with some bugs I haven't yet found, or with other issues whatever they might be.
So this version is supposed to be a test version. It might contain some issues, and if you find any please let me know. You can write me a private message here to begin with. I tried to create a Tumblr also, but I was not satisfied how it worked, so I will try figure out something else, if it seems to be needed.
This mod adds some different perfumes to the game with different scent accords that Sims might like or dislike. Sims can use the perfumes in some different ways and react in some different ways on the fragrance. Some are allergic, some will love the perfumes while others might hate them, and all the things in between, all based on what they think about the accords in the used perfume. While your sim might feel confident when using their favorite perfume, their significant other may really dislike this perfume and be uncomfortable arround them when they use it. More details about what it includes, required packs, installation instructions and upcoming features are mentioned below. Also have a look at the images for examples.
Insallation:
- Place the folder "SweetLilja_PerfumeMod_v0.5" (with all the files in it) directly in your Mods-folder (because of the script files that cant go deeper than one folder, and that one folder would be mine)
- Dont separate the mods making them lay everywhere in your folder (because when the update come I might have been changed the structure of the files and then you need to remove the whole folder and replacing it with a new one)
- You need to have Sqript mods enabled
- You need to have XML Injector v4 (latest version) in your mods folder (you can find it here: https://scumbumbomods.com/xml-injector )
- Select whatever optional addons you might want in the folder SweetLilja_PerfumeMod_Addons, remove the other ones

- 5 Different Perfume Bottles (plus one test bottle I have not removed completely yet)
- Bottle will run out of perfume after 25 uses (less when failure usage)
- Imediate interaction to know how much is in the bottle
- Imediate interaction to know what a sim thinks of the selected perfume
- Use Perfume Object Interaction
- SUCCESS (teen - elder)
- FAILURE (child - elder, somewhat trait based)
- Play with perfume (toddler and child-elder, different animations, somewhat traitbased for older sims)
- Hidden traits: likes and dislikes for different fragrance accords
- Different buffs on your sim wearing perfume
- Different buffs on sims smelling the perfume on your sim
- Different social interactions unlocked based on the different buffs
- Buy perfume from web, phone, sim, wending machines, market stalls and student wending machines
- Selling perfume in plopsy, retail and selling tables
- Storing perfumes in storages
- Gifting perfumes
Issues:
- I have seen there is an option on the perfume bottle that say "Put away" sometimes when playing as a child, it does not work. I will need til look in to that.
- I got an exception on a buff, also when playing as a child, have only seen it once and it did not seem to create any damage, but I will try to solve this until next release.
- This is currently only in English

You must know who you are and you are all so awesome! (I do not dare trying to mention everyone, in case I forget someone and may make that person hurt feel bad.) But an extra special big thank you to MizoreYukii who have helped me out so many times when I was stuck. Without your help I am sure I would not have come this far with the mod, or maybe even have given up.
I am also grateful for KawaiiStacie who had found the hidden animation for using perfume in the game. Without it I would had needed to create my own animation, and it wouldn't have looked nice at all and would have taken much more time.
