I'm Writing A Book! (projects, pen names, etc) [Writer's Blog #1]

I've been doing a lot of reflecting and pondering recently and I've decided that from now on, I will periodically update you all on projects I'm working on outside of audio roleplays, mostly because I hope you all will support my ventures beyond audio content creation. It also might offer an explanation as to why audios that go up on Patreon are more sporadic than on YouTube.
In essence, until I find a better way to do it, you all will be getting a few blog posts here and there and I hope you all will enjoy reading about my antics. Don't worry, normal audios will still be going up, I just thought it might be fun to share some exciting things happening behind the scenes that won't be shared anywhere else (no seriously, I don't think I've talked about this at all outside of my friend circles).
As some of you might know, my main aspiration in life is to be a novel writer, mostly writing in the YA genre category. I've been wanting to pursue this venture for years now, but due to my annoying "I want to try and learn everything, but not be incredibly good at one thing" nature, I've tried my hand at various different art forms in order to share my stories. For a long time, I did a form of cinematography and was producing full length tv style shows that was more directed towards the pre-teen to younger teenage audience. I then started to write more and more mature stories in the form of screenplays, and although screenplays are great, in that they can be produced into shows, it was high time for me to delve into the world of novel writing and expand my horizons.
At the current moment, I'm on track to graduate from university a semester early. This won't happen for another year and a half, but before graduation, I want to write a full length YA story. I'm currently in the process of not only planning out new series for the channel and for Patreon, but I'm also focusing on writing an entire book.
I don't have an ETA on the book's release and I'm not sure if the book will even be published (most likely not, it'll probably be on Wattpad or some site of the sort), but if you're ever wondering why it takes so long for me to post Patreon audios and why YouTube audios seem to be planned meticulously, this is why.
At the moment, I'm still in the planning phase, but I should be done with the overarching outline by the end of the month, which is super exciting. If you remember, I had a Wattpad account and a second channel up before under the name of "EJ Song", and that was going to be my pen name. I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to continue to use that name, so that's something I need to figure out, but regardless of that, I hope you all will be patient with me on this endeavor. As I've said before, before anything else, I am a storyteller, and telling stories in an eclectic manner, especially using a book as the medium, is one of the hardest things I've done thus far.
I've written short stories in the past, but they were ill-planned and lack enthusiasm. I want to tell this story to the best of my ability, so it may take a while before I could share it with you all, but when the time comes, I hope you all will receive it with open arms.

I'm definitely interested in hearing a bit about what you will come up with and to see your process in writing the book! I'm okay with more sporadic audios if they keep the same quality and story telling as they have so far, although I do hope they will continue to be the focus of your Patreon ^^"
