Scenario: It’s been a few months since you got a promotion at your job and while you’ve been excelling at every task thrown at you, you can’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of doom, every time work gets brought up. Sure, everyone feels that way sometimes, but this feeling has been festering in the back of your mind for a while now, and although you may not want to address it, your girlfriend most definitely does…
AN: This audio was originally supposed to be scripted, but the subject matter hits really close to home for me, hence the more organic rendition. I’m someone who frequently goes through bouts of lack of motivation, and these periods often lead to burnout. I was supposed to take a break from uploading in August, but I decided to power through it as I had a lot of ideas I wanted to share. In hindsight, I should have taken that break. My content and writing suffered and I have nothing but my own hubris to blame that on. Whatever obligations you may or may not have, albeit work, school, etc., nothing is more important than your own health. If you don’t have a physically and mentally well body, then every other problem out there is obsolete. Please remember that it is okay for you to stop and rejuvenate. Your work, passions, and most importantly, your body, mind and soul will thank you for it.
