Scenario: There is only so much a person can take when it comes to dealing with the cruelty of everyday existence. Finally, after years upon years of suffering at the hands of your peers, you decide that enough was enough, until you are visited by a mysterious stranger…
Lore explanation: Within our world, three realms exist: Mortal, Celestial, and Night. Once, a long time ago, all three realms converged and every race within the realms lived together in harmony. Presently, the realms are split and the three, along with all the races live separately. Eventually, the Mortal realm became unaware of the other two’s existence.
One deity from the Celestial realm, the Moon Deity, discovered that celestials have the ability to travel across the realms. She became enamored with the peoples and cultures of everywhere she went, and as such, built a sanctuary in the mortal realm. Midnight Hall served as a bridge that connected every one of the realms together. Creatures across all planes of existence began to intermingle once more, some even building their own societies in realms they did not originate from.
Eventually, the Moon Deity passed on the management of Midnight Hall to the demons of the Night realm. What was once a pillar that guided dimensional travelers to other planes of existence, now also served as a house riddled with (consensual) debauchery. Although the Hall still acts as a place of convergence for all peoples to do their business, sensual machinations are now an integral facet of the Hall’s purpose.

Well said. Ha, I forgot about the Celestials. That ought to be interesting. It would be funny if some of them were even more kinky than the demons, ha ha!

Like, not even 12 hours ago I was hooked into numerous character arcs on a slow rainy day and was just like "fuck it, her content is great and she actually sounds sane ooc", and hit up patreon. And then you drop a demon audio with world building and lots more brainstormed and I just feel like the luckiest girl for once 💜

Same Ryvius! Weaving enough of a cultural back story to make a character's beliefs sensible in their context while being very divergent from western culture and tossing them in a room (or locker, or soundproof basement, or...) with our local cultural representative is a great recipe for all kinds of feels/crises/laughs. And we haven't even seen a hint of what the celestials will toss in the blender yet!

Very interesting start. Curious to see how this plays out. Sounds like we'll get to meet a wide range of characters in this series, these so called clients and other Gems. I always like seeing nonhuman characters (demons, elfs, aliens, etc.) interact with humans, with their different values, custom's, morality, etc. Makes for fun situations, I find. Keep up the good work! I look forward to more!
