I live in Oregon where this was filmed. The 'Goonie House' (Mikey and Brand's house) is currently up for sale for the cool price of $1.65 Million and the jail at the beginning was turned into an Oregon Film Museum and has lots of fun memorabilia from movies filmed here including lots from The Goonies. The cast even visit from time to time for the anniversary that is celebrated every year in Astoria. And Willy's ship The Inferno - it was actually destroyed awhile after the movie was made. Why? Because nobody wanted it. So it was scrapped. (I mean, I don't remember being asked. I'm pretty sure I would have cleaned my room for that...)
