IIRC, there was a scene where Levi was standing over one of the corpses with blond hair and he bent down to do something, then later the body was revealed to be Petra when it showed her corpse being thrown off and Levi sadly looking on. From all of that, I was able to deduce that the patch was Petra's, and I'm sure others were able to as well.

Ohh you dont read the manga. lll be careful with spoilers then. But just know this, Isayama the creator said that the anime is basically his final draft and to add to mistakes of his manga and thus having the anime be the final product. So although the Petra father scene was added, it was meant to be added to improve the story and IS canon.

I see. If I'm skeptical it's only because I'm never quite sure what the anime throws in that's not originally in the manga. (Petra's father, for example, I read was not in the manga?) And I never try to look up stuff from the manga because I don't want to accidentally spoil anything for myself. 😬

They show Petras body leave the cart. Not anyone elses. Its clear she meant the most to him.

Was this ever confirmed? Or does it remain fan speculation? I really don't see any reason to believe it's Petra's over anyone else from his squad. (I agree that it's probably not Ivan's, unless he went through the trouble of collecting the badge's off every body...)

*******(Potentially spoilery comment. Do not read if you haven't watched No Regrets OVA.)**********(better still not be reading)*************** I think so too. Though I did read that the OVA changed up a few things from the source material and even cut stuff out. Made me love the OVA less when I realized it was actually important stuff (meaningful dialogue between Levi and Erwin, for example). Really wish they hand't messed with that because it's key to Levi's character/growth and their relationship...

The pride I felt at the look on your face when you finally saw Levi do he's thing :') I think that scene answers your question from a few eps back re: who would win Levi vs Mikasa. I thought this was a fantastic episode for Levi but also for Erwin. Btw Jimmy, what did you make of the Female Titan crying??
