Drew

Very happy you thought it was fantastic. It is personally one of my favorite episodes in all of television. That last scene with Patty is one of the best things I have ever seen on TV period.

Drew

I'm not the kind of person who cries at many things, but the whole build up to Kevin having to kill child Patty fucking gets me man.

Ninaofthe90s

Virgil drank the water which means he's going to forget and can't come back unlike Kevin.

Ninaofthe90s

This is my favorite episode of the show. One of the finest hours of television. Brilliant, weird, emotional , full of references and unlike anything else.

Retap Maxsor

I had chills when I watched this the first time. That ending of climbing out of the well/grave and then the kid coming back to the grave with the flashlight... "HOLY SHIT!" is right.

So glad to hear that you liked it, Jimmy! It's so densely packed with references that you notice something new every time you watch it. It's also got some wicked foreshadowing. In case you didn't pick up on it, the bird flying around the lobby is the one from Erika's story in Lens, and the well is located on the spot where the cave-woman died in episode 1.
