Holy fuck. I only had enough to be a patron for the rest of this month and figured fuck it I should be able to catch up on My hero and watch your BSG reactions. Had no clue the BSG reactions were full length. Now I've only got 5 days to power through these. Time for a marathon.

He didn't die in this episode, they clearly set up that the prisoner ship is a force that will continue to matter, I don't think it is a spoiler. Now if you were meant to think a character had died, or if it was very clearly meant to be a suprise when a character comes back I would consider mentioning their sticking around as being a spoiler, but no one is giving anything away by mentioning that Zarek will continue to be in the show.

I'm very happy Jimmy's enjoying this show as much as he is. On a much less happier note, saying if characters stick around or not is absolutely a spoiler and I sure wish people would stop doing that...

Zarek is one of those characters that I think they intended to be a one off but they ended up liking him so much that they keep him around. Personally I think that was a great idea because Zarek is fantastic.

The actor who plays Tom Zarek played Apollo back on the original 70’s Battlestar. It’s an interesting character for a part that easily could have been written off as just stunt casting. And the annoying kid disappears, so you don’t have to worry about that much longer(nothing happens, so it’s not a spoiler. It wasn’t really Doing anything, so they abandoned the idea of the character, since he only was added as a nod to a character in the original series anyway).
